We at The Honey POP can barely contain our excitement. ‘Cut The Line,’ released on March 1st, has dropped just in time for the Kill The Noise Tour, which will see Papa Roach set out with special guests Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves. ‘Cut The Line’ is a classic Papa Roach track – it immediately sucks us in with a steady rock base, progressing with empowering lyrics asking us to lift our voices.
You can watch the new music video on YouTube, but you might want to buy your tickets first because several shows are already sold out!
Listening to Papa Roach might bring us back in time, but what Jacoby says of this album is all about forward movement:
“Now isn’t the time for comfort or conformity, but to be inspired and build something new. Something better, in order to channel something more.”
The Inspiring Origins Of Ego Trip
During the summer of 2020, the band of four – including Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Tobin Esperance, and drummer Tony Palermo – decided to take a creative retreat to a mansion in Temecula, California. Despite their aim being to create without expectations, it was in this mansion that Ego Trip was conceived. Papa Roach’s bold new album is laced with confidence and purpose. We can always rely on Papa Roach to deliver quality music, and Ego Trip will be no exception.
Taking Ego Trip On Tour
Papa Roach shows no signs of slowing down. The Kill The Noise Tour will sweep across the USA and Canada. Once that ends, they’re booked through the summer. Now, brace your emo heart… They’ll be playing the Pepsi Center in Mexico City with none other than Simple Plan on April 4th!
And if that wasn’t enough to make you cry your mascara off, they’ll also be rocking our faces off at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento this October. My Chemical Romance, Evanescence, Bring Me The Horizon, and the Foo Fighters will be joining them, along with many other astounding acts!
Catchy, edgy, and consistent is how we at The Honey POP describe Papa Roach. These guys have been rocking stages for just short of thirty years, and they’ll continue to do so with their new album Ego Trip. In case you missed it, Papa Roach released several singles throughout 2021, including ‘Dying to Believe,’ ‘Kill The Noise,’ and ‘Swerve’ feat. FEVER 333 and Sueco. Don’t forget to pre-order EGO TRIP now, and stream ‘Cut The Line’ right here!
