David Holmes composed the excellent soundtrack with his alternative-indie influences from the trio, Unloved. The music is female-driven, infused with folk sounds from various terrains, combined with power, darkness, and a dash of humor that elevates the sonic world of TV series. It allows us to visualize the characters in alternative scenarios when looking through the soundtrack’s lens, giving us a deeper insight into their worlds, flowing freely. 

The Righteous Gemstones

The Righteous Gemstones is a dark comedy crime drama TV series on HBO about the world-famous Gemstone family, unraveling their darkest secrets, greed, and sins since it premiered in 2019. The series never ceases to entertain, with the latest season finding the Gemstones fighting off outsiders and past demons who wish to destroy their empire.

Joseph Stevens is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter behind the series’ soundtrack. The second season of the critically acclaimed animated Apple TV+’s original musical series, Central Park, continues to explore Owen Tillerman’s world. Contributing vocalists include Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess, Stanley Tucci, Aparna Nancherla, Billy Porter, Catherine O’Hara, Ellie Kemper, and Naomi Ekperigin. With songs such as ‘You are the Music,’ ‘A Walk In The Park,’ ‘I’m Bad (At Being Bad),’ ‘Light The Match,’ and ‘Clean Money’ (written by Michael Bublé and Alan Chang), the soundscape will not disappoint you so take a listen. Take a listen to one hour and eighteen minutes of heavenly, uplifting music that will surely make your ears tingle.

Suits

There are 375 songs in this playlist that will keep you entertained for an entire day. It revolved around the legendary hotshot Manhattan lawyer, Harvey Specter, his excellent protégé with eidetic memory, Mike Ross, intelligent, soft-hearted Louis Litt, and his secretary turned COO turned girlfriend, Donna Paulsen.

But aside from winning in courtrooms, this best closer in New York city possessed unmatched musical taste enriched with classics. The soundtrack includes infectious gems theme song ‘Greenback Boogie,’ ‘Carry It On’ by Racing Glaciers, ‘All of Me’ by John Legend, and a good mesh of rock and roll, soul, indie-rock, gritty riffs, and instrumentals that will leave a lasting impression.

From iconic quotes to songs to 90s fashion trends to incredible acting, tear-jerking stories, and puns that make you laugh until your stomach hurts, Friends possesses all the elements and ingredients in the right amount for a winning formula. That is why it became a favorite show among generations. But apart from having the best of Chandler, Joey, Ross, Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel, the show has a fabulous soundtrack that fits the mood perfectly, making us hum along. 

From the ultimate U2 anthem, ‘With or Without You,’ to the infamous proposal with ‘Wonderful Tonight,’ and of course the theme track by The Rembrandts, ‘I’ll Be There For You,2 a true friendship anthem, it has it all. Just remember, I will be there for you, even when the rain starts to pour.
