Stray Kids’ Hyunjin has an undeniable immense talent. His stage presence is off the roof. And it’s not only about his dance skills but also about the way he delivers every single move with so much passion and emotion. It really puts him up there when it comes to dancing. Hyunjin has come so far since his debut, and we’ve been incredibly lucky to see his growth – even though he was always pretty incredible if you ask us.
In the past couple of years, he has shared several dance performances with us, and they all showcase different sides to his dancing and his personality. Because it’s not only that Hyunjin is an incredible dancer, but it’s also that he doesn’t stick to one genre or one way of dancing – he can do it all to perfection.
In the first half of 2020, Stray Kids kept sharing content with us, and in the midst of that, Hyunjin surprised us all with his first dance performance: ‘When the Party’s Over.’ He choreographed it taking inspiration from the emptiness he felt after concerts, and especially the lack of interaction with fans in person at the time. It was emotional, deeply influenced by contemporary dance, and simply beautiful. Fast forward to July 2021: Hyunjin is back with ‘Play With Fire.’ It was powerful, it was beautiful, it was blunt, and it made a statement. After this, no one could question that he is indeed one of the best dancers in the fourth generation of K-Pop. What a moment. And of course, by October 2021, Hyunjin was picked by Studio Choom to be the Artist of the Month, which gave way for ‘Motley Crew’ – a powerful, hip-hop choreography full of energy and ideas that are just incredible.
Three different sides to his dancing, all impressive and incredible. The question is: each one represents you? Take the quiz to find out!
