Watch These Upcoming Releases With New Disney+ Ad Supported Subscription

Exciting news for every one who loves to binge shows and movies! Disney+ has announced plans to introduce an ad-supported subscription alongside their without ads option late this year in the U.S. The new ad-supported subscription will expand internationally in 2023. The launch date and pricing for their new subscription option have yet to be announced, so stay tuned!

Since its launch, advertisers have been clamoring for the opportunity to be part of Disney+ and not just because there’s a growing demand for more streaming inventory… Disney+ with advertising will offer marketers the most premium environment in streaming with our most beloved brands, Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and National Geographic. I can’t wait to share more with advertisers at the Upfront.

Rita Ferro, President, Advertising, Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution.

While Disney+ already offers a wide variety of content, here are a few more coming to the streaming platform that you could watch with a subscription.

You can catch fan favorites such as Tom Hanks as Geppetto, Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy Cricket, Keegan-Michael Key, and Luke Evans in the cast. With such a stellar cast, we’re excited to see how they bring this animated film to life.

She’s just like us, a huge Super Hero fan but she also happens to be especially inspired by Captain Marvel. What will happen when her life is shaken up by her own emerging superpowers? Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel while the episodes are directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

Calling all artsy Disney fans! On April 27, 2022 a brand new, innovative drawing experience from the Walt Disney Animation Studios is coming straight to you. Sketchbook will be a six-part series that digs into the animation process of several Disney animation artists while they teach viewers how to draw beloved characters. We love behind the scenes looks!

With Sketchbook our hope is to demystify the art of drawing, making it accessible for anyone who wants to pick up a pencil and paper while deepening an appreciation for the individuals who contribute to our films.
