Binge-Worthy Buzz: Back With More New Content For You!

binge-worthy buzz

Hello, honeybees! Welcome back to Binge-Worthy Buzz, our weekly series where we recommend you some sweet new movies, TV shows, and everything in between. So, without further ado, let’s dive in!

The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder

We’ve talked about this show many times and we’ll keep on talking about it because it is amazing! Seeing the Proud Family back on our screens made the last few months so much better, it’s crazy. And the latest episode to drop on Disney+ just reminded us how much we love Penny and her fam. Don’t believe us? Watch the featurette for it below:

Ice Age: Scrat Tales

We all loved the Ice Age movies as kids, right? If you said no, go watch them right now, you’re missing something great. Now we get to see our favorite little pre-historic squirrel back on Ice Age: Scrat Tales, a series of shorts on Disney+ starring Scrat and his adorable son Baby Scrat. Catch this iconic duo on Disney+ on April 13.

Top Gun: Maverick

Tom Cruise is back for another Top Gun movie! 30 years after the first movie, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is quietly enjoying his not-so-quiet life until he finds himself training a group of new TOPGUN pilots for a mission that no living pilot has ever seen. Add to all of that the fact that he also sees himself face to face with the son of his deceased friend, Nick Bradshaw, and you know this movie will be an interesting one.

American Song Contest

We just had to get some reality TV on this list, okay? It’s been a while since the last time we talked about it, and of course, the perfect candidate would be American Song Contest. We chose it basically because it combines two of our favorite things: TV and new artists.

The premise of the NBC show, hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson, is to give the chance for 56 artists to perform their original songs and compete for the country’s vote for the best song. Each artist represents one of the 50 US states, five US territories, and the country’s capital, and the winner gets to release the original songs through Atlantic Records. Yes, we’re in love with this show, is it obvious?
