Our Faves Stole The Show With These Looks From The 2022 GRAMMY Awards

We at THP are still buzzing about this year’s GRAMMY Awards ceremony, but not only because of the wins, cute selfies, and stunning performances. The red carpet was equally as exciting! Some of our favorite artists showed up with what may be their best looks to date, and of course, we have to share the glam with you. So here are 14 of our favorite outfits of the night!

Our Bangtan boys gave us seven incredible looks, bringing classic suits to the next level with crystal brooches and even 3D flowers. We only had one semi-complaint about these outfits: Taehyung looked absolutely stunning with the bouquet accent, and we think it would’ve been cool to see his bandmates have floral details as well! Maybe a cool boutonniere moment? But even then, all of them looked absolutely gorgeous.

Carrie Underwood

This breathtaking gown made Carrie Underwood look like the golden queen of country that she is! Between the rich gradient, the luscious volume, and the shiny bodice, it felt like a gorgeous sunset that you don’t want to look away from. We know we definitely couldn’t look away! The shoulder sash also helped tie the top and skirt together to make it more cohesive.

Cynthia Erivo

Cynthia Erivo rocked a layered silver look that had her shining like a superstar, which was super fitting for someone so talented! She told E! that it was inspired by armor, and she loved how powerful it made her feel. It made US feel powerful even just through our screens, so we could only imagine what it would be like in this outfit’s physical presence.

Doja Cat

Doja Cat’s Versace look gave us an ice queen vibe, and simply put, she looked effortlessly cool. The sheer skirt showed off her figure so well, and the shimmery fabric gave the sleek silhouette a more dimensional feel. And the necklace she chose complemented the dress’ lower neckline flawlessly!

Dua Lipa

Versace was one of the hottest fashion houses of the night, and Dua Lipa rocked this slick look that included the brand’s signature strappy style! She wore a strappy yellow Versace crop top in her ‘Don’t Start Now’ music video, so it feels like this is her revisiting the vibe in a darker light. Perhaps hinting at a new era? This outfit gives us pop-rock vibes…

This look just proves Halsey’s not a woman, she’s a god! They looked effortlessly cool in this top and skirt combo by Pressiat. It totally matches the edgy vibes of the If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power era while also giving us a bit of an Old Hollywood flair, thanks to the draped skirt and eye-catching hat.

Taking inspiration from an iconic two-tone look by the one and only Aretha Franklin, H.E.R. brought a bright dose of sunshine to the red carpet this year. The bold orange tones popped against her skin so well, and even while being influenced by a music legend, it felt fresh, modern, and youthful.

Jack Harlow

‘What’s Poppin?’ Jack Harlow’s outfit, of course! Jack rocked a chic suit from Givenchy that wound up being as legendary as his mashup performance with Lil Nas X (more on him later). We loved the signature Givenchy padlock closure clip and how it added a little more luxury to the outfit, alongside his shiny Rolex watch! It took a traditional suit to the next level.

Japanese Breakfast

Japanese Breakfast built on the sunny aesthetic of her Jubilee album in a fun new way with a ruffly Valentino dress! Complete with gold hairpins and a bold winged eye, this outfit balanced whimsy and sophistication so well.

Lil Nas X

The world is Lil Nas X’s oyster, and he brought the pearl action with a stunning Balmain look complete with cross-stitched butterflies. We love that the pop of blue eyeshadow complements the embroidery! This was such an elegant look that reminded us of the magical vibes of the MONTERO album cover.

Megan Thee Stallion

Petition for Megan Thee Stallion to become the fifth Cheetah Girl! This animal print number by Roberto Cavalli had our jaws dropping, and Megan looked so powerful. We’re still not over the gold trim or the snake earrings, which added another level of wild glamour to the outfit.

Olivia Rodrigo

We’re in love with the posh punk vibes Olivia Rodrigo has been giving us lately, and this Vivienne Westwood dress might just take the cake for our favorite Livie look of 2022. There’s nothing sour about this outfit – it’s so chic while still having a playful vibe, thanks to the rhinestone silhouette and the pops of color she added with the chokers.

Sofia Carson

We at THP have been calling Sofia Carson a real-life princess, but this flowy emerald gown by Valentino just proves her regal status. She looked so elegant while still standing out as one of the only people wearing green. You already know this shade of green will be the next big trend, and we can thank Sofia for that!

St. Vincent

You know the “my husband died under mysterious circumstances” robe that sends the internet into a frenzy every few months? St. Vincent’s Gucci look gave us that vibe, but even more glamorous! She was simply glowing in this dress, and even though she won Best Alternative Album (for the second time!) with Daddy’s Home, we want her to get a separate award just for this outfit.
