Binge-Worthy Buzz: The Best New Content Just For You

binge worthy buzz

Hello there, honeybees, and welcome to this week’s Binge-Worthy Buzz, our weekly series where we recommend you new things to watch every week because we know you’re all huge TV and Movie nerds just like us! So, shall we dive in?

Jurassic World Dominion

For the first time ever, the casts of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World are sharing the screen in Jurassic World: Dominion to finish this epic story we’ve been following since the 1990s. Jeff Goldblum, Chris Pratt, Laura Dern, and so many others will be together in a time when dinosaurs and humans share the same space. But we can all guess that the balance between the two species isn’t all that strong, right? But since this movie will only be in theaters June 10, we suggest you all use the time between now and then to watch the other Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies because they’re honestly masterpieces.

The Bad Guys

DreamWorks is back at it with a new animation movie we’re sure everyone will love. The Bad Guys follows a gang of animal criminals whose latest challenge isn’t a heist or a robbery, it’s making the city believe they’ve become…you guessed it, good guys. Their leader, Mr. Wolf, makes a deal to rid them of prison, guaranteeing they’ll become model citizens, not that they intend to keep that deal. Or at least they didn’t until a new villain shows up to threaten the city. The Bad Guys hits theaters on April 22.

The Kardashians

Yep, the most famous family to ever have a reality show has a new reality show coming to Hulu. The Kardashians gives us Kris, Kim, Kylie, Kourtney, Khloé, and Kendall, bringing the cameras, and by extension the audience, into their lives in a way that Keeping Up With The Kardashians didn’t get to do. But, if you miss their first reality show, Keeping Up is also available on Hulu with all 20 seasons of it.

Hulu has been bringing us lots of great new things to watch, and Soundtrack definitely fits that description. It also fits quite nicely with our tastes here at THP since it’s the story of two struggling artists living in LA, right up our alley, isn’t it? The complete series is already available on Hulu, in case you wanna check it out!

What happens when “wokeness” becomes big business? That’s the question that drives the second season of Woke. The show follows the life of cartoonist Keef Knight, whose activism gains a lot of popularity, but at the same time, Keef doesn’t want to lose himself or forget why he started what he does: to bring real changes to the world. And if you think the name Keef Knight sounds familiar, it’s because the show was inspired by the real-life artist Keith Knight. In summary, please go watch the two seasons available on Hulu as soon as you can.

Bonus: Mira, Royal Detective

We decided to end our list this week with a special pick for the little kids in your life who need a new show to fall in love with. Mira has been gracing the screens with her detective work since 2020 and has over 100 stories that highlight the beautiful cultures of India. But why are we talking about this show? Because new Bollywood-inspired specials are going to start streaming on Disney+ and Disney Junior from May 2 all the way to June 20, so look out for that if you have kids in your life.

And this has been this week’s Binge-Worthy Buzz. What did you think? Did we miss any shows or movies you think we should talk about here? Tell us by tweeting us @thehoneypop! Or you can find us on Facebook and Instagram.
