Last weekend Harry Styles kicked off the first night of Coachella 2022 with an absolute bang. It was the first time Harry has performed his smash hit ‘As It Was,’ and he did it in front of a 100K strong crowd in the Californian desert. You can’t get much more rock star than that. Luckily his team has blessed us with the goods and uploaded his performance so we can all relive the epic moment again and again (and again!)
Harry’s energetic and charismatic performance gained a lot of praise from fans and bystanders alike, and as usual, Twitter ate it up. Here are some of our favorite reactions to Harry’s weekend one performance!
The Outfit
Harry came out in an incredible Gucci rainbow sequin-covered jumpsuit with a plunging v-neck and short sleeves. It was a major slay. Also included were the famous cross and banana necklaces, of course. Harries had a lot to say about the look and the tweets have been pretty entertaining, to say the least!
New Music?! Yes, New Music!!
Harry performed two brand new songs called ‘Boyfriends’ and ‘Late Night Talking’ and we are so obsessed. So is everyone else. Don’t speak to us until May 20th because we’ll be watching grainy Coachella clips on Twitter until we get the album.
Let’s Talk About Shania Twain
During the set, Harry brought out one of his idols, the one and only Shania Twain. We all know Harry adores her, but the two of them singing together was not something we had on our 2022 bingo cards. How could you get more iconic than this? Let’s go girls!

We’d say we need 5-10 business days to recover, but we are launching right back into it! Catch Harry’s Weekend Two set live-streamed from the official Coachella channel here starting April 22, 5 pm PT. Until then, we’ll be watching ‘As It Was’ from weekend one on repeat and wishing our album pre-orders would come sooner.
