Punk trio Joyce Manor just dropped the second single off their forthcoming album, 40 oz. to Fresno, and boy, are we thirsty. Since the group formed in 2008 – with vocalist/guitarist Barry Johnson, bassist Matt Ebert, and guitarist Chase Knobbe – they’ve given us so many catchy, pop-punk jams that never seem to miss the mark.

Taking their witty, yet hard-hitting, lyricism and delicately placing it upon a bed of perfectly plucked strings, sound-shattering synth, and punchy vocals, this band has delivered a plethora of great tracks, creating one hell of a discography. And ‘Don’t Try’ is no exception – tune into the music video below or check it out on streaming here to see how they added to their greatness:
‘Don’t Try’ – Joyce Manor
Following the release of the single ‘Gotta Let It Go,’ the song finds fans quickly. The only drawback? We wish it were longer. Consistent with their style and sound, ‘Don’t Try’ as its predecessor has us hella hype for the album drop. How many days until June 10th?!
Diggin’ the song, but need more? Joyce Manor is currently on tour with The Story So Far, with a handful of dates left. Score tickets here!
