Lauren Jauregui returns with another installment of Attunement, a podcast on connection, wellbeing and so much more! Cuban-American singer and songwriter Lauren Jauregui is best known for her eclectic vocals, profound, heart-stirring songwriting prowess, layered harmonies, and explorations with distinctive, unique sounds. After ascending to prominence with Fifth Harmony, she made a whopping debut with her solo EP, PRELUDE, released via her independent label, Attunement Records and AWAL.
Lauren aims to soak in the newly found, invigorating air of creative freedom; expand her horizons; and cultivate her distinctive style that aligns with her personal goals. PRELUDE is a self-contemplative endeavor swelling with an amplitude of emotional resonance, fragility, and vulnerability that offers listeners a cathartic experience, transporting them to heavenly realms. Without a doubt, the critically lauded album was merely a glimpse into her enormous potential, leaving us craving more, which exemplifies her becoming one of the top mainstream vocalists.
But music is not the only way Lauren is leveraging her platform to make a difference in society. She recently unveiled her new self-care and mental health podcast, Attunement, which is a quest to support and strengthen self-care for mind, body, and inner spirit on the same wavelength, and it’s already a striking success among her fans.
When Lauren Jauregui announced her podcast, we felt ecstatic, as we are no stranger to her dedication to extending her voice and advocating for social justice concerns. She routinely uses her platform to promote awareness about several issues, including the stigma around mental health. She is also an outspoken advocate for human rights, education, equal rights for LGBTQ+, criminal justice, democracy, and immigration, among many others.
Attunement signifies bringing harmony in our lives and building intimate emotional connections with others to realize we are no longer alone but connected, and the podcast is accomplishing this goal admirably. Lauren felt obligated to act when the world suffered from the global pandemic and endured shared agony.
Mental health and emotional wellbeing podcasts can be an excellent resource for learning adequate and practical self-care strategies to maintain your mental well-being, and we’re so glad Lauren has chosen this path too! Podcasts can be so empowering, and we are so here for our faves getting involved in this platform, and championing us all to take care of ourselves, with no judgments and beautiful positivity.
Please note: While podcasts can be a valuable resource and an opportunity to learn something new, laugh a little, relax, and reflect, they are not substitutes for professional mental health support.
The inspiration for this podcast stems from the weekly Instagram Live series, Attunement, which Lauren started at the beginning of the pandemic. She talked to experts, shared her healing process while focusing on self-reflection, developed an intimate relationship with her fans, and thus built a safe space for them. The Attunement podcast carries the legacy by allowing her to interact candidly and intimately with more fans and has streamlined dialogues with diverse leaders, authors, and field experts about mental health, healing, spirituality, anxiety, and impostor syndrome.
As her first guest, Lauren spoke with Sonya Renee Taylor, author of The Body Is Not an Apology, on radical self-love, impostor syndrome, and accepting and loving yourself unapologetically. It was undoubtedly an impactful conversation that touched our hearts and left us feeling empowered. In the latest episode, she spoke with Dr. Luana Marques, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, who explored anxiety and its causes and consequences while sharing their personal stories and how they conquered their own hardships.
We at The Honey POP applaud Lauren for taking this incredible opportunity to embrace her honest self and encourage others to do the same. Lauren introduced this platform to focus on spreading healing energies to support folks on their own healing pathways by sharing candid, real anecdotes as they navigate a greater connection with their inner selves and the cosmos, pursuing their hearts and chasing their dreams.
