New Music Weekly: Ali Gatie, Magnolia Park And More!

New Music Weekly is here once again! We have eleven tracks for you guys that we simply can’t get enough of, from Aitch, to Ali Gatie, there is something for everyone!

Eliza & The Delusionals – Now and Then

Kicking off New Music Weekly with the new Eliza & The Delusionals album, Now and Then, feels right! Now and Then, and in particular, our favorite track, ‘Bed Song,’ feels stripped from the 2000s pop-rock scene. We are obsessed with the sound of all twelve tracks featured on this record, we are fully becoming Eliza & The Delusionals stans.

KTJ & CARLY – ‘Pink Ferrari’

Listen to ‘Pink Ferrari’ here!

KTJ & CARLY are nailing the concept of making a song you just want to vibe to. Both of them bring something so unique to ‘Pink Ferrari’ you find yourself so blown away by the talent two people can possess. One of our favorite things about ‘Pink Ferrari’ is how deep these lyrics are when you slow down and stop vibing and really listen.

Cannon – ‘College Friends’

‘College Friends’ is officially on our summer playlists, the beat is immaculate. Cannon not being a mainstay in our lives before now feels like a cruel crime. ‘College Friends’ is pure feel-good music, think the sun-soaked vibe of artists like Bleachers.

Julian Rose – How Deep

We’ve got an EP from Julian Rose to discuss on this week’s New Music Weekly! We are getting major 2000s RnB vibes, especially from the title track, ‘How Deep.’ We can see any of these three tracks being part of our soundtrack to a night out.

AJ Wander – ‘Blue Lights’

What a voice AJ Wander possesses! We were blown away for the entire three + minutes we were blessed with ‘Blue Lights.’ There is a larger-than-life feel to ‘Blue Lights, with the choir joining AJ at various points throughout the song. Man, what a tune. If you’re a fan of artists like James Bay, or Lewis Capaldi, to name a few, AJ Wander is a must listen!

Aitch – ‘1989’

We are just a little over two months out from Aitch’s upcoming album, Close To Home!! We can hardly contain our excitement to hear this full-length project from one of the hottest rappers coming out of the UK. ‘1989’ is the latest single from the upcoming record, following ‘Baby,’ which we are still bumping. ‘1989’ shows exactly why Aitch is having as big of a moment as he is right now, he’s the real deal.

Mabel & 24kGoldn – ‘Overthinking’

We have been massive Mabel fans ever since ‘Don’t Call Me Up,’ and of course, are also huge 24kGoldn fans, so this is such a perfect pairing of artists. Their voices compliment each other so well and make for such a smash of a track that we just want to get out onto the floor and dance to.

Magnolia Park ft. Derek Sanders – ‘Feel Something’

We will always jump on board for a pop-punk track here on New Music Weekly, it’s our kryptonite. The addition of Derek Sanders on ‘Feel Something’ was beyond genius, Magnolia Park may have just released one of our favorite songs of the year, so far. Listening to a song like this puts us right back in a field on a summer day screaming the words with strangers and our favorite groups.

James Vincent McMorrow – ‘Hurricane’

‘Hurricane’ made us feel so at peace. We could close our eyes and listen to this track all day and lose ourselves in James’s beautiful voice. Coffee house-Esque tracks like ‘Hurricane’ hit differently.

Forest Blakk – ‘Give You Love’

If someone ever wrote the lyric “your smile is an ocean” about us, we would simply pass away. ‘Give You Love’ is such a beautiful song about the unconditional love we are all searching for. We may have wept just a little at how precious these lyrics are.
