Alec Benjamin is heading out on the road to tour (Un)Commentary, and as your resident (Un)Commentary stans, we have a million thoughts! From what we’re going to wear, to which songs are going to make us cry, to the songs we have to see on the setlist, since Alec Benjamin announced the tour it’s all we’ve been able to think about.
We know so many of you are equally as excited for these tour dates, so we thought we break down our dream setlist for you guys!

‘Dopamine Addict’ is our number one favorite track off of (Un)Commentary, so naturally, it’s at the top of our list for setlist requests. We’re not saying this track has to kick off the show, but it has to be in there somewhere. Alec Benjamin was in his bag with this one.
‘Devil Doesn’t Bargain’
A close second on our list of favorites from (Un)Commentary, is ‘Devil Doesn’t Bargain,’ we are constantly in awe of how good it is. We want to scream the words live as soon as humanely possible.
‘The Way You Felt’
We weep every single time we hear ‘The Way You Felt,’ it hits too close to home. In every lyric, you feel Alec’s pain a little bit more. When we go to live shows we always like to have a moment where we can just have a good cry, ‘The Way You Felt’ is that moment.
‘Jesus In LA’
Okay, we know ‘Jesus In LA’ isn’t off (Un)Commentary, but it’s our favorite non-album song and a must to hear live. Alec has one of those voices that is instantly recognizable, and in this particular song, especially live, he does the coolest things with that gift.
We think ‘Older’ is the perfect show closer. The track feels unifying in the way that no matter who you are in the room, be that event staff, parents, someone who got dragged along, or a fan like us, you can relate to the message. It’s the best note to send the night out on.
