James Blake’s Sound
Grammy-award winner James Blake is an artist who connects his listeners’ feelings with his music. He puts his all into letting different sides of him show. In fact, this collaboration is not his first song revolving around sleep and calmness. James released ‘Lullaby for My Insomniac’ in 2019, a single dedicated to listeners who struggled with sleeping. Following that release, a “secret” ambiance album came out with great praise. Because of his experience, it was no surprise James teamed up with Endel.

The first of its kind within a Universe label, Wind Down is a functional music album with input from AI technology. James catapults his creativity with the Endel AI’s science-driven sounds, forming layers of calming music. Featuring 15 tracks, they blend from a daytime vibe to one at night.
The Endel Experience
Wind Down with James Blake is one of many collaborations made with Endel’s technology. Aiming to expand from the app, the company worked with other artists such as Grimes and Plastikman! Because of this, there is a variety of soundscapes for different atmospheres and moods.
