Joe Jonas has a voice that is aging like a fine wine, every time Joe opens his mouth, somehow, he’s gotten even better. And make no mistake, the talent of JinJoo and Jack is not lost on us. The two of them are some of the most killer musicians in the game. When you put all that talent together it makes perfect sense that live and in-person is the best way to experience DNCE.
With DNCE releasing the live version of ‘Move,’ it only made sense to us that we break down our favorite live performances from DNCE thus far.
Listen to ‘Move’ here!
‘Move’ (Vevo Studio Performance)
‘Move’ is easily one of the songs of the summer! We have already used ‘Move’ to soundtrack nights out, and now we have this live version to play over and over again. Something about Joe Jonas’s voice just kills us. He really never stops getting more talented.
‘Kissing Strangers’ iHeartRadio MMVA’s
If there’s one thing DNCE is going to do, it’s put on the most energetic performance at any event they are playing. This performance of ‘Kissing Strangers’ alone is enough to solidify DNCE as straight-up rockstars.
‘Toothbrush’ Jimmy Kimmel Live
‘Toothbrush’ is a track we are still bumping on the regular. The vocal moments we get from Joe Jonas when ‘Toothbrush’ is performed live, absolutely unmatched. ‘Toothbrush’ also happens to be a song where Jinjoo and Jack are able to have such killer moments.
‘Jinx’ Vevo Lift
‘Jinx’ is easily our favorite DNCE song, and not being able to stream it feels like a crime. Live versions are all we have and trust us when we say, we watch them all the time. Specifically, in this Vevo LIFT video, the performance perfectly captures the softness of ‘Jinx.’
‘Good Day’ SXSW
‘Good Day’ live puts us in the absolute best mood. If serotonin was in song form, you’d have ‘Good Day.’ We honestly could go for an entire album from DNCE that has this exact vibe.
We are (not so) patiently awaiting a full-length project if you couldn’t tell.
