Cherie Amour Are Taking Over ‘Sin City’ With Their Addictive New Single

Cherie Amour band

We simply do not apologize for sharing good music with you day after day. We’re doing you a service, really. How many new favorite artists have you found as a result hmmmm? Anyway, we’re bringing you Cherie Amour’s ‘Sin City,’ and we’re determined to make you a fan because we’re about to become fans after this tbh.

Who is Cherie Amour, you ask? Let us take a moment to introduce you to the Baltimore based four piece. They’re gaining notoriety in the pop punk sphere, but their sound is so much more than just pop punk (spoiler alert: that’s a good thing!). Pulling from elements of hip-hop, metal, and R&B and combining them together with pop-punk makes for a unique sound that has us hooked. Trey Miller, Casey Reid, Brendan Willis, and Ronnie Sherman are carving a place for themselves into the scene, and we could not be more excited to see them flourish. Oh, did we mention we love seeing diversity in the scene too? Cause we do. Cherie Amour will for sure be carving out a place on our playlists as well.

Cherie Amour Is Taking Us To ‘Sin City’

We love a good music video. Cherie Amour leans into the ‘Sin City’ theme with a card game setting the scene in this video, switching between the band and the game. It’s a fun watch and a fun bit of storytelling. We have to wonder how well they can actually play cards.

With regards to the track itself, vocalist Trey Miller had this to say:

‘Sin City’ is a song we wrote in the studio last summer about 4 days before I moved to Las Vegas (hence the title of the song). Lyrically, the song is about the uncertainty I felt in my life at the time regarding my career and my relationships. At the time the song was written, we hadn’t gone on a tour yet but I mentioned ‘Finding myself on tour’ and the song sort of ended up being a manifestation of what our lives have become since then.”

We love a successful manifestation in this household. Speaking of tours, you can catch Cherie Amour on tour with Broadside this summer. We already have our tickets, and we are PREPARED. In the meantime, be sure to stream ‘Sin City.’ It’s a great track to listen to if you can relate to feeling uncertain about where you’re at.
