Arlie – Break The Curse
Break The Curse is eleven tracks of some of the most unique, in a genre of its own, music being put out today. We go from feeling like we’re at a 60s diner, to feeling completely sun-soaked. Arlie has gained major fans in us, especially with ‘cool.’

Ada Marques – ‘Bell’
Ada Marques has the softer, most beautiful voice. We feel almost serene sitting here listening as she serenades us. One listen to ‘Bell,’ and you’ll see that Ada Marques has a relationship with her pen that mirrors artists like Taylor Swift and Maisie Peters.
It’s safe to say Ada is a must-listen.

Emily James – ‘Cannonball’
Summer-infused love songs, much like ‘Cannonball,’ will always reign supreme. Without being overly upbeat, ‘Cannonball’ feels like a drive-by the ocean with the person you love. Completely serene, has good vibes all around, and is expertly written.

William Hinson – ‘She’s Hot’
Okay, it’s official, ‘She’s Hot’ is a contender for our favorite track thus far in 2022. William Hinson has managed to craft a track that feels like it could have existed on our favorite teen movie’s soundtracks, for example, we’re getting major Stiff Dylans from Angus; Thongs and Perfect Snogging vibes. We’re also feeling like ‘She’s Hot’ would fit right in with groups today like The 1975, what a stellar example of a timeless track.

The One Eighties – ‘Dead Star Light’
We’ve got a debut track for you guys on New Music Weekly! The One Eighties are here to blow us away with their stripped-back vocal abilities here in ‘Dead Star Light.’ We are getting major The Civil Wars, think ‘Safe & Sound,’ vibes with this duo, and we can’t get enough. This haunting, beautiful arrangement couldn’t make for a more beautiful outcome.

Mokita x Charlotte Sands – ‘Crash’
We have officially just found our new ‘driving through a city at night’ song here, with ‘Crash.’ The addition of Charlotte Sands works perfectly here, Mokita and Charlotte have so many beautiful moments in ‘Crash’ where their voices blend harmoniously.

Kate Be Late – ‘My Biggest Regret’
Oh ABSOLUTELY! Kate Be Late proves with ‘My Biggest Regret’ that they are right up there with the best of the pop-punk genre of today. We are getting major Machine Gun Kelly vibes, and are wishing ‘My Biggest Regret’ was longer so we had more time to jam out, we’ll just have to listen again!

We are kicking off Pride month right, with ‘Boys In The Street.’ Calum Scott has one of those voices that fill us with instant chills, so when you add that to such a powerful track? We have no chance to escape without a few tears being shed. Everything Calum Scott touches is instantly made larger than life, it’s in his ability to express emotion so expertly with his voice.

EMMO – ‘Lemon Sun’
New Music Weekly just got a boost of serotonin! If you’re a fan of artists like Ed Sheeran, you’re going to absolutely love EMMO. EMMO’s latest release is ‘Lemon Sun,’ which is pure sunshine. We have instantly been put in the best mood and will have ‘Lemon Sun’ on repeat all summer long.

Amelia Moore – ‘i feel everything’
We here at New Music Weekly love us some Amelia Moore. Amelia has released teaching a robot to love, her DEBUT!! EP, which includes the absolute smash that we’re talking about today, ‘i feel everything.’ ‘i feel everything’ chronicles being in a relationship with someone emotionally unavailable, we can relate to what a sh*tty situation that is all too well!

Maggie Rogers, you will always be famous!!
Did Maggie Rogers just put out her best song? Yes, she did! ‘Want Want’ has us fully ecstatic awaiting the release of Surrender, Maggies’s album coming out on July 29th! We can’t box in ‘Want Want,’ or Maggie Rogers in general, genre-wise, and we wouldn’t want it any other way, because her art is sheer perfection.
