7 Boy In Space Music Videos That Feel Like Perfect Movie Plots

Boy In Space (Robin Lundbäck) has been on our most streamed artist list for awhile now, and he knows how to deliver some unbelievable tunes. He has exactly zero skips in his discography, and his music videos have just as much allure to them as his songs!

His latest song, ‘A**hole,’ with its punchy and danceable beats, got its own exhilarating video, and that gave us the idea to share with you seven Boy In Space videos that tell a story so well, it feels like the plot of a movie! Each video is its own mini-movie with well-thought-out characters, a killer soundtrack, and a plot that leaves you wanting more. So, without further ado, let’s dive in!

This video gives us major “brothers/best friends in a band” vibes, and we know we’ve already seen a movie or two with that general plot (hello, Camp Rock 1 and 2), but we can guarantee this one would have much more animosity and action – ideal for all the drama lovers out there!

‘On A Prayer’

Better bring your tissues for this one because this is the classic “break-up and heartbroken” trope – a classic. More importantly, missing the other person and reminiscing. It’s got so much emotional depth that we can feel our hearts break right along with theirs, so if you need us, we’ll be crying into our pillows now.

We wouldn’t be us without including a little bit of the true-crime genre on the list, though don’t get too excited because it’s metaphoric! We interpret the body they bury in this to represent the death of who they used to be (mentally), whether that be from a bad relationship/breakup or mental health – you can decide for yourself! Either way, it would be not only an enjoyable movie but relatable as well.

‘Sucker Punch’

If comedy or satire films are more your style, this video is the one for you! The lyrics are kind of poetic and deep, but the video makes us giggle every time: it’s quirky and eccentric and would be perfect to use for a short little YA comedy film! Boy In Space really tickled our funny bones with this one.

You are in for a treat with this one, friends! Imagine being so in love with someone, blinded by the person you built them up to be in your head, that you don’t realize they aren’t good for you, and you allow them to hurt you over and over. It’s the perfect sad romance movie trope, and we need to know who we can pay to make this happen – ASAP!

‘Remember Me’

This music video is such a whirlwind and cinematic masterpiece. Ever not been able to get someone out of your head and just wanted to wipe them completely from your memory? Relationship burned too hot, too fast? Then this is the video for you! No – this is THE movie for you, we can picture it now as a feature film, and we love it already!

A song about crushing on someone you can’t have, ‘Caroline’ is the perfect song for the unrequited love trope that we adore more than we’d like to admit. It’s passionate and emotional and absolutely the perfect video to give us a movie plot!

If you still haven’t gotten a good enough Boy In Space fix (honestly, same), mark your calendars! On September 16th, Boy in Space will be releasing his second EP, Backyard, essentially a sister EP to his first EP, Frontyard

About the EP, he says:

While the frontyard is what you’re happy for people to see, the backyard is everything else. It’s what you try to keep hidden. The backyard is where you can see the ugly stuff. ‘A**hole’ is about some of the lowest times in my life, and the behaviour and thoughts that come to you in those periods of time
