Binge-Worthy Buzz: You Need To See This One!

binge-worthy buzz

Hello, honeybees, how you doin’? Welcome back to another edition of Binge-Worthy Buzz, our weekly series where we bring you new recommendations for what to watch next. Without making this any longer than it has to be, let’s dive in!

It’s here! Lightyear is here! The highly anticipated Pixar movie about the man who inspired the toy Andy has in Toy Story finally hit theaters and has received many good reviews so far. Pixar truly did a wonderful job with this one. And just a reminder, if you want to see more of the process behind the movie, you can always check out Beyond Infinity: The Journey to Lightyear on Disney+.

America The Beautiful

There’s no better way to celebrate the 4th of July than to celebrate the natural beauties of North America. At least that’s what National Geographic is telling us with the trailer for its newest show, America The Beautiful. All six episodes will be available on Disney+ on July 4 and will take viewers all over the most stunning landscapes in North American territory. And if that wasn’t enough to convince you, just know the show is narrated by Michael B. Jordan.

Love, Victor

The third season of Love, Victor is finally here, people! Remember how it seemed so far away the last time we mentioned it here? Well, the wait is over and we’ll finally get to see the next steps in Victor’s journey of self-discovery. And, of course, find out what’s going through his head now that his high school days are coming closer to an end. We can’t wait to see what else Love, Victor brings to the table in this new season.

The Old Man

What happens when a former CIA officer who’s been off the grid for decades suddenly becomes the target of an assassin? He has to go make peace with his past in order to save himself in the present. That’s what happens to Dan Chase in The Old Man, FX’s new series, which will also be streaming on Hulu starting this Friday, June 17. If you need us, we’ll be watching Jeff Bridges running away from multiple people for the next few weeks.

The Free Fall

We don’t know about you, but if we woke up one day without recognizing anything around us, we’d be pretty scared. That’s what happens to Sara in the horror movie The Free Fall. One day, she finds herself in a strange house with a husband she doesn’t remember and surrounded by weird events and people. We know we’ll be on the edge of our seats watching Sara piece her story back together when we watch this on Hulu.
