Celebrating Christmas In July With The Backstreet Boys’ Album Announcement Plus More Faves!

Christmas is arriving early this year: Backstreet Boys have announced a brand new Christmas album!

A Very Backstreet Christmas will release on October 14, 2022, and what a fun release it will be, packed with special versions perfect for the holiday.

The album will be available digitally, as well as on CD and vinyl. Plus, a limited edition red vinyl which will be available on the Backstreet Boys website exclusively. But that’s not all! A Target exclusive version of the album is also set for release, featuring three exclusive bonus tracks. The tracks include classic ‘Feliz Navidad’ and ‘It’s Christmas Time Again.’

Apparently, this album has been in the making for 30 years! 30!

“We’ve been wanting to do a Christmas album for nearly 30 years now and we’re beyond excited that it’s finally happening. We had such a fun experience putting our BSB twist on some of our favorite Christmas classics and can’t wait to be part of our fans’ holiday season.”

Howie Dorough of Backstreet Boys

The album includes Christmas classics that we can’t wait to hear the band take on with their flawless harmonies like ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas,’ ‘The Christmas Song,’ and ‘This Christmas.’ And three original Christmas songs, which are sure to be modern classics. We can’t wait to hear what ‘Christmas in New York,’ ‘Together,’ and ‘Happy Days’ sound like!

We have to kick this off with a banger –– the ultimate boy band Christmas album (so far). NSYNC’s Christmas album has been occupying our hearts since the early 00s and we aren’t complaining. Whether you were an NSYNC stan or a Backstreet stan back in the day, you have to admit, this album slaps.

Our fave trio released a Christmas album in 2001 and it’s still a holiday staple to this day. “Eighth day of Christmas my baby gave to me a pair of Chloe shades and a diamond belly ring,” if those lyrics don’t scream iconic, we don’t know what does.
