MTV VMAs
SEVENTEEN made history this year by being the first K-Pop group to be featured as an MTV PUSH artist and now they’ve written their names in history again as the first K-Pop group to win the PUSH Performance of the Year award!
They were nominated for three MTV VMA awards this year: Best New Artist, Best K-Pop, and PUSH Performance of the Year and and yes, we screamed when they were announced as the PUSH Performance winner! They keep setting the bar higher and higher!
Members Mingyu, Jeonghan, Vernon, Seungkwan, and S.COUPS prepared a sweet video to share after their win since SEVENTEEN were busy crushing it on stage at their Washington D.C. concert. During the show, Seungkwan announced their win and vibrant cheers (wink wink) erupted throughout the arena. CARATS, how proud are you of each member’s talent, dedication, and craftsmanship? Congratulations and well deserved, SEVENTEEN, we’re looking forward to all the awards that you’ll continue to collect!
‘_WORLD’ ft. Anne-Marie
Recently, the group joined forces with none other than the English singer with some seriously sweet vocals, Anne-Marie, to remix their title track from Sector 17, ‘_WORLD.’ SEVENTEEN keeps winning by collaborating with some of their favorite artists and we CARATS are thriving with all the new music!
The original is *chef’s kiss* and their remix is *double chef’s kiss* if you know what we mean. Her vocals compliment SEVENTEEN’s tone for the song impeccably. You can stream the remix right here on whichever music platform is your favorite! This collab has us hoping for a live performance from Anne-Marie and SEVENTEEN sometime soon!
BE THE SUN TOUR
But all ‘_WORLD’ remix performance plans will have to wait for now since the guys are currently on their headlining BE THE SUN tour! Attending a SEVENTEEN concert is a life-changing experience, no one can be the same after watching them devour the stage, it’s actually impossible. To top everything off, SEVENTEEN treated CARATS to an intense performance of ‘HOT’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live! which they filmed during their time in LA while on tour. They burned up the stage if we do say so ourselves.
We are thrilled SEVENTEEN won their first ever “Moon Man” and we can’t get over their ‘_WORLD’ remix with Anne Marie!
