ONE OK ROCK are no strangers to releasing emotional tracks, and their newest track, ‘Let Me Let You Go,’ is as emotional as it gets.
Not to make anyone feel old, but as long as ONE OK ROCK has been releasing music, their vocals, the instrumentals, and the tracks they’ve released haven’t changed. They’re so consistent, constantly releasing really great tracks, and ‘Let Me Let You Go’ is high up on our list of favorite tracks from the band.
‘Let Me Let You Go’ is track five of their upcoming album Luxury Disease, and if this is what the album is going to sound like, we’re more than ready. The track is all about the regret you feel as you look back at a relationship that ended because of you, which comes with a lot of lyrics you can scream-sing along to. Such as these lyrics, which we’re obsessed with “Bullets in the dark / Shootin’ through my hesitating heart,” Mozart who? Speaking of those lyrics, we really can’t get over the way Taka sings that verse, trust us and listen very closely to it. And don’t even get us started on the guitar intro and the whistling near the end. It’s just so good and is such a solid track, from a really solid band, which we really think you should check out if you haven’t already 👀
