Jenna Ortega is currently one of Hollywood’s rising stars. From her first lead role on Disney Channel’s sitcom Stuck in the Middle to starring in Netflix’s most anticipated series of the year, Wednesday – she is on her way to becoming a household name. If you aren’t a fan yet (which you honestly should be)- here are three more reasons why you should stan Jenna Ortega.

She Is Killing It In The Horror Genre

Jenna Ortega has been dominating the horror genre this year! From Scream (2022), Studio 666, and X to her titular role as Wednesday Addams for Netflix’s Wednesday, coming on November 23, what more could we want from this starlet? An icon playing an icon🔥. So instead of wearing pink on Wednesdays, we will be wearing black and maybe braid our hair into Wednesday’s signature hairstyle.

Now, this isn’t her first rodeo Jenna’s first horror debut was in Insidious: Chapter 2 before she was even a teen. Shocking, right? Jenna’s horror thrill does not stop there! She will be returning for Scream 6, expected to release next year. Needless to say, we can’t wait to watch her performances in these frightening films; after all, she won the MTV Movie & TV award for Most Frightened Performance!

She Is A True Activist

If you follow Jenna Ortega on social media, you’ll see that she is an avid advocate for many causes and brings awareness to current issues.

Something I would hope for my generation is that we learn to create an environment that is not so toxic, where we don’t jump on other people for asking questions. We need be kinder and not assume people are going to know everything.

She involves herself in organizations like the National Bullying Prevention Center to gain further knowledge and educate others. All while sharing the importance of representation of Latinos in entertainment, especially for her new role as Wednesday Addams. Jenna is truly an inspirational figure!

She Is An Author Of Affirmations

That’s right, Jenna Ortega is an author! Her nonfiction book It’s All Love: Reflections for your heart and soul is about her experiences in the industry through anecdotes and affirmations. Jenna was inspired by her high school English teacher to begin writing and publishing her work, so she did her book was published in January 2021. Today it continues to leave many inspired (including us). We can’t wait for what else she publishes!
