It’s been over 150 days since Little Mix took their final bow (for now) and while we are waiting for the day the trio join forces once more, we’re very much keen to see them thrive as soloists for the mean time. And speaking of solo, there’s been a bit of gossip floating about that a certain Miss Perrie Edwards is on the verge of releasing something in the foreseeable future!
Now while nobody official has confirmed anything, what we do know is that Perrie has been in the studio many times this year on the grind, and we are super stoked to see what’s to come. Here’s everything we know about her solo music so far…
She’s Working With Kamille
One thing that’s brought us comfort in the Little Mix hiatus is that the girls are still very much using their team for their own journeys so they’re still very much still connected. This includes none other than frequent collaborator and unofficial fourth member KAMILLE joining them in the studio for songwriting sessions. Perrie has been documented with KAMILLE in the studio several times this year, with K even sharing some exclusive info with Mixers over time. Several TikToks have been shared of the pair in between working, so it’s safe to say we can definitely expect them both on the credits for PE1.
KAMILLE has even spoken about working with Pez, praising her vocals. “Perrie will get in the booth and she’ll be so worried and so insecure. Even when I was working with her the other week with Steve Mac, she got into the booth and was like “I don’t know if I can do it.”… She’s incredible. She doesn’t even know how good she is, and that’s one of the most beautiful things about Perrie; She’s so humble… as you know, there’s so much more to come from her.” We have to stan!
Could We Be Getting Rock/Pop-Punk Vibes?
Okay, so we’re not expecting her to don her KISS costume once more, but we could be seeing rocker Perrie Edwards in the foreseeable future. KAMILLE shared a video of the pair listening to Paramore in the studio. Now, hardcore Mixers are very much aware that Perrie was inspired to become a performer after seeing Paramore in concert, so is it possible that she’s finding inspiration from them and going back to her roots? Tbh, after the rock version of ‘Woman Like Me’ on the Confetti Tour this kind of vibe is highly welcome and we will be thriving from it!
We Could Have A Hit On Our Hands

Her debut solo single hasn’t even dropped yet but we could already have a hit on our hands! After posting a TikTok in the studio working with Perrie and Fred Again, KAMILLE captioned it saying “I think we may have a hit.” We haven’t even heard it and yet we already love it and dub it SOTY. You know what, Miss Edwards? We’d love this as a Christmas present this year…
While we aren’t sure if anyone will be hopping on a song with Perrie, we know of some collaborators who have been making some trips to the studio for her solo work, including former Little Mix collaborator and singer-songwriter Meagan Cottone, who’s written on songs such as ‘Confetti’ and ‘Salute,’ as well as with artists including F(X), EXO-CBX, and Olly Murs.
It’s also been confirmed that she’s worked with record producer Steve Mac who has previously worked with Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, and One Direction, as well as Fred Again who has worked with BTS, Halsey, and Maisie Peters. Also spotted in the studio with Miss Edwards have been R.I.Pablo who wrote Little Mix bangers ‘American Boy’ and ‘Only You,’ and Gracey, who has worked with Jonas Blue, Rita Ora, and Kylie Minogue.
With these collaborators’ track records, we just know them working with the Perrie Edwards is going to be pure fire!
What Doesn’t Kill You Gives You A Fire Pitch?
One hot rumor in Mixerville comes from the Pop Justice forum where fans share their hopes of a pop-rock vibe from Perrie, sharing “she could really be a great mini-Kelly Clarkson,” only for another fan to respond “Apparently she’s requested pitches in the vein of ‘What Doesn’t Kill You’ so…” Now, there’s no confirmation or official behind this, but with powerhouse vocals of Miss Perrie Edwards, how incredible would that sound?!
We Could Be Getting Our First Taste Of PE1 Very Soon!
Now not to get your hopes up, but the rumours of Perrie Edwards solo music coming soon are pretty rife now. Not only with KAMILLE who has often been giving us cheeky teasers, but entertainment journalist Ryan Wilks took to Twitter to tweet: “Perrie Edwards stans… get ready x”
UMM, EXCUSE US, RYAN?! You can’t go tweeting things like this then leave us hanging! We sincerely hope this means we’ll be getting a release this side of Christmas. BRB, gonna go manifest.
