Last weekend, we got to witness the cast reunions of our dreams at the For the Love of Fantasy show in London by Monopoly Events. Featuring our favorite stars from The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, Twilight and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, over 20,000 fans attended the convention from across the world to see big headliners such as Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley (Damon & Stefan Salvatore), Joseph Morgan (Klaus Mikaelson), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), James Marsters (Spike) and Tyler Posey (Scott McCall).
With a jam-packed schedule, FTLOF gave attendees the chance to meet guests with photo opportunities and autographs, watch exclusive Q&A panels, join in on cosplay masquerades, and visit the many vendor stalls. As our post-convention blues linger, we are sharing our top highlights from the event as we relive the magical experience!
The Vampire Diaries
It is no surprise the Salvatore brothers took the spotlight this weekend as we witnessed consistent screams and frantic running of fans around the venue, wanting to get just the slightest glimpse of the duo. If we had taken a shot every time we heard “Stefussy” or Paul Wesley impersonated Ian Somerhalder (mirroring his close friend’s stories on Instagram), we probably wouldn’t have made it home that night.
Kat Graham deserves a special shout-out, who went above and beyond at her booth with a never-ending autograph line, connecting with each and every one of her fans – even if it meant staying late. Between photoshoots and being sat beside Michael Malarkey, Bonenzo was in full action, pulling at our heartstrings.
And it doesn’t end there! In case you missed it, Riley Voelkel and Michael Trevino also joined Candice King and showrunner, Julie Plec, at London Night 6 of The Eras Tour after the con on Saturday night in true Swiftie fashion.
The Originals
The Mikaelson’s have our hearts, always and forever. In his panel with Persia White, Joseph Morgan gave us a taste of Klaus’ iconic quote; “Vampires of New Orleans! Do recall that I am an original…”, as he revealed his favorite scene from the show in 1×08. Keeping the coin from the set as a souvenir, we loved knowing he shared the same appreciation for that speech as we did! As expected, Elijah was his favorite sibling to dagger considering his long-running bromance with Daniel Gillies – and yes, Joseph did edit and send a video montage of those betrayal scenes to him.
We also saw other familiar faces from New Orleans including Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), Riley Voelkel (Freya), and Leah Pipes (Camille O’Connell) on stage who kept us on our toes with their chaotic energy, reminding us of filming days of the show.
Twilight
The Twilight renaissance is never over! We got to see Taylor Lautner and the wholesome family reunion of the Cullens featuring Kellan Lutz, Rachelle Lefevre, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, and Ashley Greene at ‘For the Love of Fantasy’. Taking it back to the start, the cast shared their audition processes and favorite scenes from the books which they were excited to bring to life on screen including the iconic Bella and Emmett arm wrestle scene and James’ coven entrance.
We were kept amused with many encounters between the cast on the convention floor from Peter rocking a unicorn costume to Kellan and Rachelle interacting with the many dinosaur suits. Facinelli also shared a funny filming secret during his flashback scene with Robert Pattinson when Carlisle turned Edward. Next time you rewatch Twilight (2008), look out for Edward’s smile before he’s bitten – Peter revealed in this take, he whispered “You’re sexy” in his ear and it made it through to the movie!
Teen Wolf
Scallison in 2024? We’re here for it! Our hearts were warm seeing Tyler Posey and Crystal Reed reunite as the pair reminisced on their early shooting days of Teen Wolf and core memories they made whilst living in the same apartment complex with Dylan O’Brien and Tyler Hoechlin back in 2010. Touching on our beloved ship, Posey shared his favorite scene from the movie, where we saw Allison’s revelation with Scott in the locker room – a moment he said was seven years overdue for their characters.
Throughout the weekend, Tyler and Crystal gave us the cutest duo photoshoots and radiated the warmth of their on-screen characters. Of course, we had to make a beeline for their guest tables and were greeted with hugs, selfies, and heart-felt conversations.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

As James Marsters said himself, the Buffy cast were “drowning in love all weekend” at For the Love of Fantasy as they reflected on the legacy of the series. From sharing their most embarrassing moments on set to charming British accents and their experiences with fans growing up alongside the show, we were most definitely in our feels! Juliet Landau (Drusilla) also mentioned the launch of a new Buffy rewatch podcast she is hosting, Slayin’ It, which we will be tuning into ASAP.
