A new era for Madison Beer fans has arrived. What’s better than starting the new year with a fresh album from our girl Madison Beer? Locket is now ours with 11 tracks about finding yourself in a relationship and letting go of negativity (even if you still hold those moments dear in your locket around your neck). We love how this album is filled with heart-jerking lyrics and gorgeous visuals that remind us why we are Madison Beer fans in the first place.

The Locket Tour
Before we get into our top favorite songs from locket, we have to remind you that Madison is taking this new album on the road. Get ready for jaw-dropping vocals and a reunion with your internet friends! We know we’ll be hitting multiple cities and crying on the barricade. Find tickets to your city here!

‘bad enough’
‘bad enough’ emerged as an instant hit on Locket. When we heard it for the first time, we knew it would be a standout and one of our favorites, too. This song feels like the beating heart of locket, with themes of knowing you need to break up with someone, but feeling bad about hurting their feelings. Sometimes being alone is the best thing you can do for yourself, and Madison reminds us of this important message all throughout the album. ‘bad enough’ is already making its rounds on Instagram and TikTok – go share your videos and tag Madison!
Have you seen the music video for ‘bad enough’ yet? We can always count on Madison for high-quality music videos that bring something new to the music industry. This one was certainly a surprise, but we haven’t been able to stop watching it since it dropped.
‘you’re still everything’
Ouch, our hearts. Madison really said, “it’s time to cry” on this one. This song instantly reminded us of the way that Silence Between Songs made us feel – full of heartbreaking and romantic whimsy songwriting. Even if we fall out of love with someone, we still have strong feelings for them, and may still even love them. ‘you’re still everything’ explores these themes and more so effortlessly. All we have to say is that Madison, you are everything!
‘nothing at all’
What a beautiful way to close out the album. The production on ‘nothing at all’ gave us goosebumps the first time we heard it, and Madison sounds as gorgeous as ever on this track in particular. This is one of those songs we wish would go on forever and forever, as 3 minutes and 8 seconds is simply not long enough. ‘nothing at all’ seems to complement ‘bad enough’ as the emotions turn around and leave us with a lot to think about. Is Madison happier or sadder by the time Locket concludes? How should the listener be feeling? Which memories are Madison keeping in her locket, and which are she discarding?
What lessons did you take away from Locket? What were your top three from Madison Beer’s new album? Let us know everything and more down in the comments or on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
