You know we’re always looking for new releases to not only get insanely hyped for but listen to obsessively once they finally drop! So it’s no surprise that we’ve had February 3rd circled on every calendar we own since we heard about the drop of Katie Boeck’s ‘Over Again.‘ From her sultry, all-encompassing vocals to the way she weaves a story with her master lyricism, ‘Over Again’ is an on-repeat kind of track.

‘Over Again’ touches on the feeling of looking back at everything you’ve been through to get where you are, and not wanting to change a single thing. It’s about making peace with your past because you’re just really grateful for the present, and we love that mindset and warmth! Katie had this to say about her track:
When you experience any type of perceived failure in life there’s a lot to process, including the fact that your actions and decisions have lifelong consequences. This song is about making peace with your past, owning your story, and letting the gifts of wisdom and resiliency make you a better person for it.

Now allow us to make your day even more by letting you know that Katie’s new album Calico is releasing everywhere on April 28th! Katie has described Calico as a deeply feminine album centered around navigating the modern-day ties we all have and trying to find love in the process. This means we are ready to sob as we hit that on-repeat button when we get this album!
What’s your favorite line from ‘Over Again?’ Ours is “And I know better than to dwell upon a history I can’t rewrite, time is cruel cruel thing, Until you see it all in hindsight.” Let us know your pick in the comments below!
