This artist is truly one-of-a-kind, with the voice of an angel and relatable lyricism, Daisy Veacock and her new track ‘For A Rainy Afternoon’ are going to take over. That’s a THP promise. With a multitude of singles and an EP behind her, Daisy is the British singer your playlist needs.
‘For A Rainy Afternoon’ is a melancholic track backed by a sweet, nostalgic acoustic sound and, of course, accompanied by Daisy’s smooth and stunning vocals. Painting the picture of heartbreak, reminiscence, and almost trying to hold onto the good parts of a relationship to ignore the bad.
‘It was kind of crazy how the song just happened so all at once. My producer (Beau Miles) just sat quietly and listened whilst I had a little cry into a cup of tea at his flat, then stood up and said: “Right! You’ve done the moping about, now you’re going to write the song!” He then left me alone for 3 hours and ‘For A Rainy Afternoon’ was what I played him when he came back.

We’re truly obsessed with the laid-back vibe this song gives while Daisy’s vocals and lyricism take control, conveying the emotions perfectly. We certainly shed a couple of tears listening.
Daisy is an artist who will fill that Lily Allen-shaped hole in the world’s listening habits while also creating her own lane. With a clarinet solo by her dad and no label backing her, Daisy is a homegrown artist whose love for her art and for music shines through. If you’re looking for someone who loves what they do, here she is.
Daisy has been writing music since she was 16, and after touring twice with Jools Holland, this is an artist on her way to complete superstardom, and you’re going to want to join her on this ride.
