Patrick Droney‘s Runaway Tour at Scoot Inn in Austin, Texas, was an unforgettable night of soul-stirring music. Performing songs from his debut and latest album, Subtitles for Feelings, the intimate venue allowed for a personal connection between Patrick and his fans as he showcased his versatile talent in blending genres like rock, soul, blues, and pop.

Throughout the night, Patrick effortlessly transitioned between upbeat anthems like ‘Shotgun Rider’ and ‘State of the Heart’ and heartfelt ballads like ‘Glitter’ and ‘Poems & Apologies.’ Each song delivered raw emotion, leaving the audience hanging onto every word.

Not only did Patrick showcase his incredible vocal range and implacable songwriting, but his guitar skills were nothing short of extraordinary. From intricate solos to soulful riffs, his talent on the guitar added another layer of depth to his already captivating performance. One of the standout moments of the night was when Patrick brought out opener Cecilia Castleman for a stunning duet on ‘Ruined.’ Their voices blended beautifully, creating a haunting and emotional performance that left the crowd in awe.

Patrick Droney’s set was an experience from start to finish, a celebration of music, emotions, and the power of human connection. It was an experience that left the crowd feeling invigorated and inspired, eager to explore the depths of their feelings, along with Patrick’s Subtitles for Feelings.
