It’s Always The Right Time To Listen To SUPER JUNIOR-D&E’s 606

SUPER JUNIOR-D&E 606

Our favorite duo, SUPER JUNIOR-D&E, is finally back, and you know we’re blasting their new mini-album 606. It’s been a hot minute since we got a comeback from them, so we’re extra joyful over this.

The release has us dancing and vibing with the new tracks, replaying like the good fans we are. Since the album comes in three versions carrying the “am” and “pm” periods in their names, we started thinking: what time of the day would be best to listen to each song from 606? Of course, we’d say any time, and that would be very correct of us. But what if we matched each track on SUPER JUNIOR-D&E’s album with a time of the day? Here is our outcome.

‘GGB’ – Evening

Starting in order, we have the title track ‘GGB’ opening this much-anticipated album. While the song’s name has been wrapped in some controversy, the song as a whole is quite the fun listen. We can really see ourselves playing this one in the evening hours. Picture this: work and school are done, the day is closing down, the sun has set, and it’s time to loosen up and have that relaxing music party you’ve longed for all day.

‘ROSE’ – Late Night/Early Morning

The gentleness of ‘ROSE’ reminds us of a more relaxed time when everything seems to be more still. We feel that the very late hours of the night and the early morning are when we’re most in the mood for something chill to break the silence but not too much to disturb our tired minds.

‘Hang Over’ – Night

Are you surprised we’re assigning ‘Hang Over’ to when darkness falls and night takes over? Lyrics like “Never stop stop stop” and “Just take a shot shot shot” give us party vibes, and we are thinking what’s the best time for that? We’d definitely play this on our way to and during a nighttime event to hype up not only us but also everyone around us.

‘Twisted’ – Afternoon

Honestly, we were debating between two times for SUPER JUNIOR-D&E’s ‘Twisted,’ but we ended up deciding on the afternoon hours. The later, the better. It’s when we get tired from work, school, and any responsibilities that have been occupying our day. But at the same time, it’s also when we get our energy slowly returning to us because freedom is calling just around the clock.

‘New Balance’ – Noon

Noon is when it’s time for a small break to recharge for the rest of the day. ‘New Balance’ has the perfect title and musical drive we need to set out for the next hours. Watch us play this as we grab our lunch breaks and feel ready to complete our busy days.

‘Missing Pieces’ – Morning

SUPER JUNIOR-D&E’s 606 wraps up with ‘Missing Pieces,’ a song with sad lyrics but an upbeat sound. The tempo feels just right for the morning when we’re still waking up, gathering ourselves, and preparing for a new day. Why would we start it with a song that isn’t exactly happy in the story department? Accepting what we have or don’t have is how we proceed forward. It’s the acceptance of things that allows us to keep facing life with the best mindset and conquer the day.
