3 Underrated Sabrina Carpenter Anthems You Need To Check Out If You Love ‘Espresso’

Our favorite pop princess is back, and we feel hyped and energized! Or is that just the caffeine talking? Sabrina Carpenter just dropped ‘Espresso’ ahead of her debut Coachella set this weekend and, in news that will surprise no one, the track has our self-esteem (and wardrobe aspirations) skyrocketing.

As well as being one of the most stylish celebrities of all time (yeah, we’re declaring that), Sabrina is also one of the most triumphantly self-confident. The brazen attitude she shows in songs like ‘Nonsense’ and ‘Feather’ is exactly what makes them such hits! Sabrina has added to her empowering catalog with ‘Espresso,’ and it got us thinking…

For those of you who aren’t as chronically down bad for Sabrina as we are (first of all, why not?), you might not know of some underrated gems in her discography. If you’ve fallen in love with ‘Espresso’ like we have, here are 3 more Sabrina Carpenter tracks that exude that energy!

‘Mona Lisa’

Note to the world: anyone who leaves Sabrina hanging is a fool. “You let this ooh-la-la-la intimidate ya,” is a classic Carpenter lyric, and we absolutely love it. ‘Mona Lisa’ manages to be both vulnerable in its intent, and sassy in its delivery, which just about sums Sabrina up.

‘Bet U Wanna’

We already mentioned ‘Feather’ and ‘Nonsense’ from emails i can’t send, but did you know they’re not the only sassy tracks on the album? With lyrics like “Bet you miss me, bet you’re reminiscing,” this track is deliciously sarcastic. You can practically hear Sabrina’s patronizing pout!

‘I Can’t Stop Me’

The Sabrina and Saweetie crossover of our dreams! If even Sabrina can’t stop herself, how on earth would anyone else? ‘I Can’t Stop Me’ is so bold yet sultry, so what’s not to love? Sabrina knows what she “la-la-likes,” and she’s gonna get it.

‘Espresso’

And, of course, we have to talk about ‘Espresso’ itself! It has that classic Carpenter energy, but the track also makes it super clear that we’re in a new era of Sabrina. Describing more new music as “imminent,” we can’t wait to see what tongue-in-cheek lyricism she has in store for us next. And if the ‘Espresso’ music video is anything to go by, it looks like this era will (somehow) be even more aesthetically pleasing than the last.
