Have you been keeping up with our full comeback reviews? Be sure to check out our star-studded coverage of ZEROBASEONE, ATEEZ, IVE, ONE PACT, NMIXX, and BLACKPINK! After you’re done looking through our catalog, let’s jump right in to this month’s K-Pop releases.
BLITZERS SYA
BLITZERS member SYA absolutely stole our hearts with the title track of his solo debut, ‘STAY.’ So much emotion is poured into the song that it’s simply impossible not to feel it and fall hard for its charm. We may be a bit obsessed with ‘STAY,’ but you’ll know why if you give it a listen. And not just the title, but SYA’s whole album, 23:24, is worth a listen. In particular, we’re very fond of the B-side ‘Actually,’ as well, in case you needed a recommendation.
SKINZ
Our February K-Pop Hotspot is starting out with a BANG! Virtual idol group SKINZ just dropped their pre-release single, ‘WHY YOU MAD.’ It’s a heavy-hitting track with a bold message. Despite what society tells them or what haters have to say, SKINZ will keep doing what they do. They are not afraid to disrupt the status quo and prove it by being the first virtual idol group to feature a mega-crew performance in the music video.
MISAMO
MISAMO’s first full-length album, PLAY, is finally here! With 12 tracks and a solo song for each member, this comeback is one you don’t want to miss. The title track, ‘Confetti,’ is a burst of color and pure joy. It gives us the perfect excuse to celebrate ourselves, no matter what stage of life we’re in. Some of our favorite B-sides include ‘Hmm,’ ‘Deep Eden,’ and ‘Catch My Eye.’ But this MISAMO release is a masterpiece from top to bottom.
MONSTA X
When MONSTA X goes for an emotional song, you know we’ll be on the floor crying. Top it off with a self-cam video, how are we supposed to survive? The English single, ‘growing pains,’ reaches the group’s global fandom on an emotional level, touching on the subject of struggles, dreaming, and being ok while navigating life. It gives courage to anyone who listens to it, anyone who might be going through something and needs some encouragement, to simply know they’re not alone. It’s a song that relays the message to accept oneself because we’re good as we are.
YANG YOSEOP
Our beloved Yang Yoseop of HIGHLIGHT is back with a new EP, Unloved Echo! His comebacks always hit home, knowing we grew up listening to him. The title track, ‘Fade Away,’ is the perfect example of why he’s one of our favorite main vocalists. This song makes our hearts ache, and we don’t even know what all we’ve lost. The set design and visuals bring the perfect mood of longing and complement Yang Yoseop’s heavenly vocals.
CHUNG HA
Queen CHUNG HA is back with a new single to celebrate her birthday. We’re immediately transported back to the early 2010s. ‘Save me’ is an EDM banger that we can already imagine bumping at full volume at our future summer parties. We’re so obsessed with this new sound on CHUNG HA. And we hope to get even more high-quality music from her this year. (Pretty please!)
TWS
Next up on our February K-Pop Hotspot, TWS has just released the Korean version of ‘Nice to see you again!’ We didn’t know we’d love this song even more than before, but their charisma and performance sealed the deal. It’s the right type of energy we’ll need as we move into spring, so we’ll definitely be replaying this track for a while.
KARD JIWOO
KARD’s Jiwoo has finally made her solo debut! No, this is not a drill! Adult K-Pop is still alive and well with her first EP, (EX)IST. Her title track, ‘Home Sweet Home,’ is a dark and sexy song with lyrics that had our jaws on the floor. Jiwoo eats up this concept so well, and we’re more than obsessed! With three B-sides, an instrumental of ‘Home Sweet Home,’ and a feature from BM, it’s safe to say this solo debut slayed!
HEARTS2HEARTS
Hearts2Hearts is back with a bold and unapologetic new single: ‘RUDE!’ These girls bless us with an empowering song about being authentic and doing what you want, even if other people see it as rude. That’s their problem, not ours. Self-confidence and setting boundaries are things to be proud of, not shamed by others. ‘RUDE!’ is a cultural reset, and we live for it!
X:IN
X:IN has just dropped their fourth mini-album, Hyper! With a catchy and flashy title track, ‘Dazzle Flash’ shows off why X:IN really are those girls! The EDM instrumental really suits their sound, and we can see ourselves getting down at the club to this track. Don’t sleep on their B-sides either. From the groovy R&B ‘No Clarity’ to the hip-hop banger ‘Who Dat,’ there’s a song for everyone!
KIM SUNG KYU
Rockstar KIM SUNG KYU taking over our playlists in 2026? Absolutely! The screams we screamed when we listened to the pre-release track ‘Over It’ from his mini-album OFF THE MAP! If this was preparing us for the release, we definitely weren’t ready for what ‘Over It’ had in store for us! Instantly hooked, you will hear nothing but praise for this single, and we’re extremely happy that it was dropped early, so we can love on it and replay it over and over. We’re not getting over this one.
NCT JNJM
Were we expecting this new NCT subunit? Not at all. Are we thrilled? Absolutely! Jeno and Jaemin have debuted as NCT JNJM with their first mini-album, BOTH SIDES. The title track, ‘BOTH SIDES,’ is about having both sides of your face be your best side. And honestly, they’re real for that. Their face cards never decline (we know that’s right)! Jeno and Jaemin’s energy and voices complement each other so well. This duo is everything!
QQQ
Did we just find our new obsession?! OnlyOneOf’s first-ever subunit, QQQ, has officially debuted with their mini-album, QtoresQ, and it is a total vibe shift! The title track, ‘UNCOOL,’ is a gritty rock anthem that has us ready to headbang in our rooms. We are absolutely living for this edgy side of the boys! With four tracks in total, the mini-album gives us everything from the atmospheric ‘QtoresQ’ to the fiery energy of ‘Burnaway (into fire)’ and the stunning ‘Rainbow shade.’ Whether you’re here for the vocals or the new rock sound, QQQ has proven they are anything but ‘UNCOOL.’
ASC2NT
ASC2NT is officially taking us to new heights with their first mini-album, STILL : I! The title track, ‘Still Rose,’ is a total anthem about resilience that has been stuck in our heads since the first listen. Unquestionably, the boys have leveled up their sound with this comeback, giving us everything from dreamy atmospheres to high-energy tracks. In fact, this EP is so good that ‘Replay’ isn’t just a song title. It’s the only button we’re hitting!
There are so many lovely new comebacks and debuts in our February K-Pop Hotspot! What was your favorite release? Which comebacks are you most looking forward to in March? Let us know in the comments below, or on Twitter @TheHoneyPOP!
