There is nothing we love to talk about more than boy groups, especially the North Star Boys. It’s even more exciting when they go on tour! You’ve probably seen the trending Asian-American octet on social media. Maybe their content has popped up on your feed, their songs graced your FYP, or you’ve caught that viral clip of a fan getting kissed on stage. Yes, that’s the North Star Boys!
With the recent release of their second full-length album, CYDIA, the eight guys are gearing up for a 19-city North American tour. The boys inspire a younger generation and have stolen hearts (we’re not exaggerating; they have over 55 million social media followers). To celebrate this news, we’re presenting four songs we hope to make the setlist for the North Star Boys CYDIA Tour in North America.
‘Jet Black’
Everybody knows ‘Jet Black’ as the main track from CYDIA, released back in April and quickly gained attention. It’s a thrilling track! Can you imagine the concert starting like the music video, with the lights illuminating each member one by one? ‘Jet Black’ exudes confidence, and we can only imagine what it will be like live with a smile on our faces, which is why it must have a spot on the setlist.
‘Sunshine’
Our dream North Star Boys concert setlist has to feature some of their softer, more emotional music. A song like ‘Sunshine’ is a perfect candidate! We know this heartfelt track would sound beautiful live, with everybody singing along and the fans’ smiles shining.
‘BUG’
‘BUG’ is our next pick because it is a truly unforgettable song that delves into embracing being lovesick. The music video is fun, the vibes are fun, and it would be, well … fun on stage! Plus, if you’re struggling to pick your concert outfit, take inspiration from the ‘BUG’ video and attend as a member of the HIVE in true flying form. Did you spot it in the music video?
PANIC
‘Panic’ is a track that perfectly sums up young adulthood, making it the ideal track to play to a crowd full of young adults. The bridge of this song is what really excites us. Imagine those powerful drums, those lyrics, and that energy live with everyone singing along.
