Happy Pride Month, honeybees! We’re so stoked to be starting the month off with this LA pop artist, Jordan Suaste’s new song! If you’re on TikTok, you may already be familiar with his music, considering his TikToks have over 12 million likes! ‘heaven’ is his latest single from his debut EP, maybe i am, which is set to be released on September 6th. Between ‘heaven’ and his previous single, ‘Love Who You Want To’ we’re so excited for the release.
It’s about my experience with religion & how I feel about people saying “I’ll burn in hell” because of who I love. I feel like hell would be more fun, since that’s where all my friends will apparently be.”
Jordan Suaste on ‘Heaven’

‘heaven’
‘heaven’ is a beautiful queer love song, both sonically and lyrically. This track takes a hateful talking point and turns it into a positive expression of embracing queer love and being unapologetically yourself. Lyrics like “Don’t take me to heaven, if my love can’t stay /If this is a sin, I still wouldn’t change” and “I don’t want heaven, I want him” illustrate that love is more powerful than anything else.
