As soon as we heard queer LA pop artist Jordan Suaste’s ‘heaven,’ we were hooked. It was perfect for Pride Month and all year round. There’s just one month until his new EP, maybe i am? is released (and if you want some more information, be sure to check out our exclusive interview with him!). We’re so excited for it, but in the meantime, he just released his new single, ‘the devil’ and (no pun intended) it’s fire!
“People always love to say that queer individuals or anyone different are ‘devils’ or that there’s something wrong with them, so this is about reclaiming the word,” says Jordan. “Like if you want to call me a devil then I’ll be the best devil you’ve ever seen.”

‘the devil’
This is what we need to hear on a night out. Between its infectious beat and lyrics like, “Now I’m the devil / and you’re my savior / gave me a taste, and it was sweet / You showed me what it really means / to be the devil,” it’d be the ultimate club anthem. And they should start playing it. Immediately. Even if you don’t normally dance, it’s impossible to not want to while listening to this song.
So, what do you think of Jordan Suaste’s new single, ‘the devil’ and is it your new go-to night out song? Are you as excited as we are for his new EP, maybe i am? Let us know in the comments, on Facebook, Instagram, or by tweeting us @thehoneypop!
