We’ve been obsessed with Toronto alt-pop singer X. ARI ever since we heard her previous single, ‘Frenemy.’ We’ve seriously been playing it on repeat nonstop. We’re so excited because she just dropped a new single, ‘Lifetime!’ We’re also anxiously awaiting her new EP, Neuroplastic, which will be released on September 27th.
“In this present lifetime, as X. ARI, it’s my duty to pay for my past life sins by being a beacon of love, light, and hope through music and mental health advocacy to heal the damage I did when I was once Artica.”

Whereas her last single, ‘Frenemy,’ was super fun and upbeat, ‘Lifetime’ is all about self-forgiveness and healing. We absolutely love the raw energy of this track. Her vocals truly shine through with her deep lyricism. “I caused pain / I shed blood / spread my darkness through my love / Show me light through the night / ripped the devil in my mind.” We love how she’s such an outspoken mental health advocate, and it’s clearly reflected in her music. Being that vulnerable takes a lot of courage, and we applaud her for it. You can listen to the song below.
