This is not a drill! This weekend, Monopoly Events are holding the very first For The Love of Fantasy fan convention in London on Saturday August 17th and Sunday 18th at the ExCeL. Beloved cast members from fan-favorite shows and movies such as The Vampire Diaries and The Originals to Twilight, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, True Blood and Supernatural will be in attendance and we simply can’t contain our excitement! We are here to break down what to expect over the weekend and some iconic reunions to look out for.
At The Honey POP, we know one thing for certain – no fandom ever truly dies. Conventions are a dream come true for fans, bringing a wave of new content from those familiar faces we have grown to love on screen over the years. Fans at this event are in for a treat, having the chance to purchase meet and greets, autographs and photo opportunities with their dream guests. There are some big names on this year’s line-up including Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Joseph Morgan, Tyler Posey, Taylor Lautner and Charisma Carpenter. You can find the full guest list here.
If you’re experiencing major FOMO, don’t fear. Be on the look out and prepare for plenty of photos and videos on social media from the convention. Confirmed photo ops are set to include group pictures with The Cullen’s, The Mikaelson’s, The Salvatore Brothers and Scallison. We might even be lucky to see some unexpected crossovers as the many universes come together under one roof (eek!)
Taking over the main stage, there will also be a variety of panels throughout the weekend where attendees can watch exclusive guest talks and ask their burning questions. Check out the schedule below (in BST):

And It doesn’t end there! The event will also showcase an exciting Cosplay Masquerade, along with a variety of vendors offering unique merchandise, including artwork and exclusive collectibles. As well as this, fans can capture the perfect Instagram shot with replica props and set designs straight from Forks and Mystic Falls, all located within the venue.
