Since their latest album, Imaginal Disk, dropped a few months ago, we’ve been curating the perfect playlist of our favorite Magdalena Bay songs. ‘Image (Grimes Special)’

“While recently under house arrest for illegally creating a super species of extremely large naked guinea pigs, Grimes is tentatively returning to music with a few remixes. This one seems extra good tho,” says Grimes.

This track is a remake of the duo’s popular ‘Image,’ but of course, with that Grimes flair that every music lover can’t seem to pull away from. ‘Killing Time’
This just may be our favorite track from Imaginal Disk. The beat is irresistible and the lyrics are just as intoxicating to the ears. If you love ‘Killing Time’ we know you’ll love the rest of the new album!
‘Death & Romance’
Since the day this track came out, we knew we’d be Magdalena Bay fans for the rest of our lives. ‘Death & Romance’ gives us that summertime energy we’ve been missing during these autumn months. We also can’t get enough of the music video!
‘Killshot’
It’s not a Magdalena Bay article without a mention of ‘Killshot.’ If you all have been longtime Magdalena Bay fans, then you already know every word to this song. There’s no doubt here in the hive that we had to add this song to our top favorites!
‘Tunnel Vision’
Finally, we have to shout out ‘Tunnel Vision.’ It’s last on our list, but certainly not least. There’s nothing Magdalena Bay can do better than create a song full of beautiful synths and beautiful lyricism. This song certainly takes the cake for us!
Did you know that the duo is taking these tracks (and more!) on the road!? We are so excited to see Magdalena Bay live we can’t contain our excitement! We hope the duo plays all these songs along with a potential special guest appearance from Grimes? A honeybee can only dream…
