Nope, your eyes haven’t fooled you. We missed a week of Soundcheck Recaps. And in that brief time? Oh, just your fave (cough, Olivia Rodrigo) giving us live music whiplash so intense you might need to hurl your Crumbl cookies in the GUTS World Tour bus glittery toilet. From wrapping up their massive international tour to diving headfirst into the festival season—talk about a whirlwind. But hey, the show must go on, and we’re trying our best to save you a spot at Barricade. So buckle up because with our brunette goddess leading the charge, plus a few other artists sprinkled in, your digital ticketing stub is about to get way longer.
Olivia Rodrigo
We swear the whiplash didn’t leave you colorblind—Olivia’s just dipping into another paint pot as the GUTS purple switches for a killer red. She first teased this fiery hue on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when she smized in a mirror selfie, rocking a Ludovic de Saint Sernin bondage harness dress. And now? We’re starting to see a pattern. BST Hyde Park’s promotional graphic blends those alluring purples and deep maroon, leaving us to think: is this the start of us memorizing another four-letter word? With The Last Dinner Party and girl in red on the guest list, June 27, 2025, is set to be the ultimate bash.

High Water Festival
Some young couples will undoubtedly remember the High Water Festival as ‘The Night We Met,’ not just because it’s a classic song from the Saturday headliner, Lord Huron, but also because with over 15 acts and zero overlapping sets, everyone’s crammed into one spot. It will be so much easier to send come hither eyes to the cute stranger. From April 26th to the 27th, North Charleston’s Riverfront Park will be the place for alt-pop romantics to be. Bonus: you’ll be like a North Charleston do-gooder fairy, with $3 from every sale going to local charities.

Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour
We all know live music has its own magic, but will the slow-moving, brain-munching zombies see the mystic in it? Apparently, Disney thinks so. They’re teaming up with Descendants: The Rise of Red and Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires to create the ultimate show that’s guaranteed to make any paranormal creature boogie. It’s got your faves from like Kylie Cantrall (who’s still effortlessly rocking that spunky red in her hair) and now Joshua Colley. Your camera roll’s about to get a major upgrade. Rolling through San Diego on July 17th and wrapping up in Fort Worth on September 16, you might just find yourself craving an encore.

My Chemical Romance
It’s only fitting that when Rolling Stone crowns your album as one of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” you take that as your golden buzzer to hit the road. And My Chemical Romance? They’re doing the thing. They’re marching The Black Parade to cities across the U.S. (Plus, after already reminding every early-2000s-ner that time does pass at the When We Were Young Festival, of course, the time capsule will get dug up again.)
But don’t get too comfy—this isn’t your typical coast-to-coast tour. Instead, they’ve hand-picked—maybe a lucky dip hat was involved—10 cities. The good news? The boys love versatility. They’re keeping it fresh by having a new opener every night, from Wallows to Evanescence, proving once again that we want a peek into their tour bus playlists. Oh, and remember that list? You know, the epic one? If there were a ranking for slay-worthy tours, this would be on it.
