FLO’s Access All Areas Is R&B Excellence

So…we heard FLO needed help promoting their new album?! Don’t worry girls; leave the hard work to us.

Any time a new girl group comes on the scene, they immediately have our attention. This was the case for FLO, an all-female trio from London. If Destiny’s Child had a little sister, it would be FLO. Sound familiar? You probably know their hit song ‘Check,’ or maybe you saw them open for Kehlani on her Crash Tour. If that doesn’t ring a bell, then we’re here to put you on full time.

FLO’s latest project, and debut album (!), Access All Areas, includes 16 2000s-inspired R&B tracks that master the genre. Each song transitions into the next flawlessly and delivers top-tier production with gorgeous melodies that we can’t get out of our heads. Here are our top three favorites from the new album and what we hope to hear from the girl group next.

‘In My Bag (Feat. GloRilla)’

GloRilla has been climbing the charts lately, and we’ve been loving watching her growth! FLO’s decision to grab Glo and put her on the album was a genius decision, and it certainly paid off. ‘In My Bag’ gives us all the FLO vibes we know and love with a twist of pop and rap. This track proves that FLO can flow (no pun intended) through all our favorite genres effortlessly. We love new artists who don’t conform to just one genre, but who also bring new sounds to the table.

‘IWH2BMX’

With an iconic song title like that, we knew it would be an instant hit. Don’t know what the acronym stands for? An intoxicating beat that makes us want to dance goes a long way. ‘Get It Till I’m Gone’ serves us everything that we search for in an R&B track. Here, FLO is serving us vocals and vibes, so much so that we need to hear this beat in the club immediately! FLO really seems to embody this sound, and we’d love to hear more like ‘Get It Till I’m Gone’ from the group in their future projects.
