Durry Announces Tour Ahead Of The Release Of Their New Album, This Movie Sucks

Durry caught our attention with their hit single ‘Who’s Laughing Now,’ which blew up on TikTok and scored six million streams. The lyrics really touched on life’s struggles, resonating with a lot of people. Because of that, their debut album, Suburban Legend, started gaining some serious buzz, getting shout-outs from Rolling Stone and Ones to Watch, and landing at number four on the Alternative New Artist Chart.

‘This Movie Sucks’

Their first single from their sophomore album, also titled This Movie Sucks, was released on April 2nd, with the music video following on April 4th. Featuring a 2000s rock sound, the song tells a story about how life can sometimes feel like a movie, but it’s not always as glamorous as what is portrayed on the big screen. The music video showcases recreations of well-known films, with the duo playing the main characters.

It is worth noting that all of their music videos, promotional material, and merchandise are exclusively curated by the band, which makes each era distinctly different from the others. This time, they had the opportunity to record their album in a proper studio, making this release particularly special for them as artists.

Their album is set to release on June 27th, with a North American fall tour to follow that will span 24 cities, kicking off in their hometown Minneapolis, MN on September 12.
