Ever wondered what would happen if you mixed Indian music, Jazz, and R&B, and then shredded the guitar for a minute? Raveena Aurora (known as Raveena) dares to answer the question at her Where The Butterflies Go In The Rain Tour. We had the opportunity to witness the magic of Raveena in person in Raleigh, NC on May 22, 2025. In an 800-person capacity room, Raveena curated an intimate evening of whimsy and feminine joy. Keep reading to find out our favorite moments from the night, the full tour setlist, and more!

The Opener – Renao
Renao opened the night by creating a safe and casual space for fans. Renao is an Indian-born London-based singer, with this being his first tour in America. He graced the stage wearing a well-tailored suit and grabbing the mic to immediately give us amazing vocals – a great first impression, we have to say. After each song, he made sure to engage the audience, ask questions, and thank us for bringing the good energy! This is your official honeybee reminder to always show your favorite artists’ supporting acts some love.
Our favorite songs from Renao included:
- ‘Runtime’ (dropping soon!)
- ‘Burnt Lipstick’
- ‘Jasmine’
- ‘Pressure’
BTW – if your name is Jasmine and you’re planning to attend Where The Butterflies Go In The Rain Tour, you’re in for a sweet surprise!
Raveena Takes The Stage
Before heading to the show, we were prepared for a night of ethereal music, whimsical costumes, and meditative vibes all around. To say we were completely blown away is an understatement! When Raveena took the stage to sing ‘We Should Move Somewhere Beautiful,’ we knew it would be a night to remember and we were totally locked in.
Raveena sported a gorgeous baby blue frilly dress, a long ponytail, and matching eye makeup. Her backup dancers matched the butterfly theme with sparkly blue butterfly tops and flowy white pants. They entered covering Raveena in a transparent blue cloth, and continued to use it throughout the show as a prop. For the entire two hours, we were completely entranced by Raveena’s vocal beauty, but also her physical beauty that filled the room from front to back.

Raveena’s show was made stronger by that of her band and dancers. Her two dancers, Sang and Jada, completely took the audience by surprise when they started breaking down some insane dance moves, then played the bass, and sang backup. Hello, talent!
On the guitar and piano was musician Aaron Liao who was also an audience favorite. He had a few moments of impressive guitar shredding that had audience members whooping and clapping. Here in the hive, we’re always supporting and clapping loudest for the band and supporting acts!
Embracing Feminity And Her Culture
The night was all about embracing femininity, Indian culture, and sharing love with your closest friends. In the middle of the show, Raveena and her dancers showed off some beautiful Indian dancing as she sang ‘Kehna Hi Kya’ from the movie Bombay, and towards the end of the show, Raveena led the audience in a short meditation that reflected her love for her culture’s traditional practices. Thanks to Raveena, our appreciation for Indian song and dance has grown tremendously!
At this point, we were full convinced that there’s nothing Raveena can’t do. We’re officially mega-Raveena fans and encourage you all to listen to her latest album, Where The Butterflies Go In The Rain – stream it here!
There are still a handful of tour dates left on Where The Butterflies Go In The Rain Tour, and we encourage you to grab tickets here and go support Raveena in your city!
