When we first heard ‘Folded,’ it took us back to our OG Kehlani days streaming Cloud 19 and SweetSexySavage all throughout high school.
Since ‘Folded’ is bringing back those old school R&B vibes, we’re going back to these five Kehlani hits that make us fold instantly (if you know, you know).
‘Folded’
The second we heard Kehlani’s new song, we knew it would be an instant hit in our hive. Luckily, the rest of the world is vibing with ‘Folded’ too. It’s purely Kehlani in all the best ways – flirtatious lyrics, energetic production that keeps you wanting more, and of course, a visualizer to match.
We’re hoping that ‘Folded’ is a sign that even more new Kehlani music is headed our way. Perhaps a new album? And a tour to follow? That would be a dream come true!

‘Piece Of Mind’
The entire SweetSexySavage album is just hit after hit after hit, but ‘Piece Of Mind’ is that one track we always come back to. Hearing this live on the Blue Water Tour back in 2022 was a check off our fangirl bucketlist for sure! What’s your favorite track from SweetSexySavage?
‘Footsteps (Feat. Musiq Soulchild)’
Quite possibly one of our favorite Kehlani tracks, ‘Footsteps,’ always hits differently. It’s just so timeless and a song that always sounds like you’re listening to it for the first time, even if you’re like us and have heard it dozens of times. We’re so glad While We Wait got its revival in 2024 with the release of While We Wait 2, as it might just be Kehlani’s best album.
‘FWU’
It doesn’t get much more OG than this! ‘FWU’ is one of Kehlani’s most iconic tracks, and it was dropped in 2014. You just had to be there when this dropped! As any Kehlani fan does, we always come back to ‘FWU’ time and time again.
‘Open (Passionate)’
It’s crazy to think that It Was Good Until It Wasn’t turns five years old this year! It feels like just yesterday this amazing album was given to fans – it’s lived such a life since then! We have a soft spot in our hearts for ‘Open (Passionate).’ Kehlani’s pen goes crazy on this one, and we always hit play on it first when we want to listen to It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.
