We are back and better than ever this week! We have new music from so many of our favorite artists, including Audrey Hobert, the Jonas Brothers, and some more! There’s a little something for everyone!
sombr – ‘we never dated’
We are kicking off this week’s new music coverage with one of our new favorite artists, sombr! ‘we never dated’ is a dancey-pop track that we are hoping we get more of as we lead up to what we hope is a debut album. If you’re a fan of artists like Wallows or Finn Wolfhard, we think you’ll love sombr!

Bonnie McKee – ‘Easy’ (Dreamkid Remix)
Bonnie McKee could teach masterclass after masterclass on how to craft a perfect pop track. From the songs she kept and released for herself to the many songs she has crafted for other artists, it’s hit after hit. ‘Easy,’ which comes from her 2015 EP Bombastic, has been reimagined and given the Dreamkid treatment, which has easily secured this track’s spot in our summer rotation.

Presley Haile – Off To Find A Sunny Day
Presley Haile is a star; it’s that simple! Off To Find A Sunny Day is the perfect blend of country and folk. This record feels like you are meant to listen while on a walk on a sunny day through a field, which is exactly the vibe we are going for as we continue into summer. Our favorite track is ‘Someday Soon,’ but that’s ever-changing.

Megan Moroney – ‘6 Months Later’
We have been waiting for this one! Megan teased this track on TikTok weeks ago, and we have been listening to the snippet she teased ever since! We have been long-time fans of Megan Moroney’s and consider her discography to be near perfect, but ‘6 Months Later’ is an instant favorite of ours. We can’t wait for this new era!

Lucy Spraggan – Other Sides Of The Moon
If you have yet to dive into Lucy Spraggan’s discography, then allow Other Sides Of The Moon to be your gateway! Lyrically and sonically, this album is stunning. There are constant examples of soft yet powerful vocals, but we have to say, vocally, ‘Heaven’ is our favorite track on the record and is the one we keep coming back to.

HAIM – i quit
i quit is a strong contender for our album of the year! It is that serious to us! Every track HAIM released leading up to i quit, especially ‘Relationships,’ already had us convinced this was going to be our favorite HAIM project. Each track being as expertly crafted as they are shows clearly why we waited four years for a brand new album (not counting the 10th anniversary edition of Days Are Gone). We are truly watching some of the all-time greats create.

Elizabeth Nichols – Tough Love
If you’re looking for a new country artist to add to your playlists, then look no further than Elizabeth Nichols! We first came across Elizabeth’s music on TikTok with her song ‘I Got A New One,’ and we were instantly obsessed! There is something very old school, Dolly Parton-esque about Elizabeth’s voice, but also with the storytelling elements we’ve seen in modern country singers like Red-era Taylor Swift and Kelsea Ballerini.

Jonas Brothers – ‘No Time To Talk’
Listen, anytime we get to talk about new Jonas Brothers music, it’s a good day! ‘No Time To Talk’ is the latest offering from their upcoming album, Greeting From Your Hometown. In our opinion, it shows that being able to do solo projects and grow creatively separately only lends itself to the band when they are ultimately spending that time creating together. We can already tell that this album is going to be beloved by both new and old Jonas fans.

Audrey Hobert – ‘Bowling alley’
Audrey Hobert burst onto the music scene with ‘Sue Me.’ We have been eagerly awaiting to see where she would go with her next track ever since, and ‘Bowling alley’ is the answer! For us, ‘Bowling alley’ cements that Audrey is only going to keep rising in the industry, discovering her voice more, and continuing to connect with people through music.

Alessi Rose – ‘That Could Be Me’
Alessi Rose is what’s next in pop music, mark our words! As she continues to release music, it’s abundantly clear that her understanding of pop music and her singular artistic voice are meshing beautifully. ‘That Could Be Me’ is the best example of that. Her upcoming debut album, Voyeur, is going to be our first full-length taste of how Alessi can sonically flow a record, and we can’t wait!

Ryn Weaver – ‘Odin St’
We are rounding out this week’s new music coverage with Ryn Weaver, an artist we’ve been entranced by since we first heard ‘Pierre’ back in 2015! ‘Odin St’ starts off feeling like the beginning of a relationship, where everything feels free and exciting. And it ends up pondering how things will end, if everything will stay the way it is, or if you’re just playing pretend.
