‘IN THE NAME OF YOUR LOVE’ – Telenova
This is just the latest from Telenova’s upcoming album, The Warning. To be released February 27, The Warning is already brimming with life. So far, the six songs we have reveal a dreamy, addictive sound. As we look forward to the rest of the tracks, we can confidently claim that this record is the beginning of a new era for Telenova. Even the all-caps titles grab our attention and won’t let us look away. They have something to say with this record, and they know exactly how to make us listen. Discussing the tensions of life, their sound perfectly reflects their reality. Between lively melodies and gritty riffs, they capture the sound of life in all its complexity. And it’s all packaged into their signature electronic-pop sound. We can’t wait to hear more!

‘COME GET YOUR GIRL’ – Lights
Another project that celebrates life and everything that comes with it. In her latest release, A6EXTENDED, electro-pop singer Lights allows us to take a deeper look at the world of A6. Among the eight tracks added to the standard album, it’s impossible to choose a favorite. But ‘COME GET YOUR GIRL’ is certainly a standout. With it’s toe-tapping beat and high-energy chorus, it’s sure to get audiences off their feet on her upcoming tour of the same name.

‘There Goes My Heart’ – Ella Mai
An alluring intro to her new album, Do You Still Love Me?, this song promises perfection for the next 13 tracks. With this record, Grammy-winning R&B star Ella Mai is letting us see her most heartfelt, honest side yet. And if we had to pick just one song for you to listen to, it would be the intro. That may be a trick on our part because if you listen to the intro, you won’t be able to stop yourself from listening to the whole album. But what you’ll get out of it is a confident reflection on love in all forms. So we know you won’t regret it!

‘Silverlake Baby’ – Déyyess
It’s always a good day when we get to listen to a new release from art-pop singer Déyyess. And we got a whole EP! Featuring two new tracks, Would You Go Down On A Girl? feels like being stuck in a dream in the best way. Picture the most beautiful setting you can imagine, with golden sunlight streaming in at all times, and that’s where we feel like we’re stuck. But we use the word “stuck” loosely. Who would want to be anywhere else?
Déyyess describes herself as “the people’s lesbian princess,” and we can’t think of anything more accurate. This EP exudes queer joy, exploring themes like crushes and the unmistakably queer experience of yearning. Which perhaps doesn’t sound joyful, but you have to trust us. True, ‘Silverlake Baby’ is about unrequited love. But Déyyess pairs her vulnerable storytelling with a blissful, cinematic sound that we can’t get enough of. And we’re considering the entire listening experience joyful.

‘back to you’ – Charlotte Sands
We are simply foaming at the mouth waiting for Charlotte Sands’ alt-pop album Satellite. But while we wait, she is being nothing if not generous. ‘Back to you’ is the latest of five released tracks from the album. Some of the previous releases like ‘neckdeep’ and ‘one eye open’ have proven that she’s only getting bolder with each album. But ‘back to you’ shows off a softer, more vulnerable side. It’s the balance of both that makes Charlotte so captivating. Satellite is out March 6, but you don’t have to wait to listen to ‘back to you!’

‘Big Deal’ – In Color
In Color has been on our radar since their breakthrough single ‘Headlights.’ With one EP and a few singles making up their collection since they hit the scene last year, every song has been alt-pop perfection. No exception is their latest: ‘Big Deal.’ Heading out on a headline tour this spring, In Color is a band you won’t want to miss. And depending on where you’re reading this from, their debut EP Snow Day may be appropriate right now.

‘you woke me up’ – Kevian Kraemer
Fresh off of his Jersey or Mars EP and end-of-summer single ‘Tan Lines,’ Kevian Kraemer is back! After a carefree summer romance, our favorite indie pop artist has woken up to a harsh reality. Despite telling a story about hurting someone he loves, the song is set to a funky beat that we can’t help but dance to. And that’s exactly what we want from music: to forget all of our problems and dance.

‘pretty in pink’ – Keni Titus
Keni Titus just released her debut album AngelPink, and we’re obsessed with the track ‘pretty in pink.’ The bittersweet notes sprinkled throughout the album shine through in this song. Even as she sings about losing herself, we can hear her begin to find herself. And as this song closes the album, we hope she’s found something she likes. We certainly have. With AngelPink, she takes the blend of melancholy and femininity of artists like Gracie Abrams and makes it her own.
