‘DON’T YOU SEE ME TRYING?’
This is just the latest of Erin’s four releases from PAREIDOLIA. And with this one, she proves that every time we think she’s hit a peak, she goes higher. Or, given the subject matter, maybe we should say she goes lower.
Erin LeCount is no stranger to vulnerability. Previously, she’s addressed topics like dissociation, spirituality, and the all-too-familiar feeling of being unsafe on a walk home. On ‘DON’T YOU SEE ME TRYING?’, she dives even deeper into the downward spiral of PAREIDOLIA with themes of self-sabotage. And it’s all set to an electronic beat similar to artists like Lorde and Imogen Heap. It’s her refusal to hide from darkness that makes her so relatable, and the captivating sound that keeps us coming back to her.
Not only does she have a sound that’s distinctly hers, but she has also mastered her striking image. Her flowing white dresses and huge angel wings have become legendary to her fans. Dark blue dominates her music videos, creating an image that’s unmistakably Erin.
La Lune Tour
Currently, Erin is wrapping up her first shows in North America on the La Lune Tour. After playing sold-out shows in New York and L.A., she is headed back to the UK for The PAREIDOLIA Shows. So far, each show has been a dazzling display of her majestic stage presence and obvious passion.
