If you’ve been scrolling endlessly on TikTok these days, you’ve probably seen a familiar face resurface. Cody Simpson is back in the studio, and our inner 13-year-old fangirl is living her best life. With the release of ‘Baby Blue,’ and now ‘When It Comes To Loving You,’ we’re being absolutely fed. With these two new songs finally ours, does this mean we should be gearing up for a full-length album sometime soon? It only makes sense for Cody to release an album in the summertime – the sunny surferboy is his brand, after all.
Teasing A New Era On TikTok
Cody Simpson knows what his fans want to see. Earlier this year and late last year, Cody took to TikTok to begin teasing this new era of music. He started using a light blue color in everything, hinting at the title of the first single, ‘Baby Blue.’ He started reposting and commenting under nostalgic fan videos, making sure every fan knew he was back for good. We even got some TikToks filmed in the studio, getting us even more excited for the potential of new music. But quickly, Cody confirmed that yes, we were getting new music, and it was coming very soon.
‘When It Comes To Loving You’
When it comes to loving Cody Simpson, we honestly haven’t stopped in years. He’s always been at the forefront of our minds, and now that he’s entering a new era, we’re all in for the ride. We decided early on that whatever he decides to throw our way, we’ll support fully. Luckily, he made our job quite easy. The second single to come out of this new era, ‘When It Comes To Loving You,’ is everything we didn’t know we needed from Cody. Have you heard it yet!? Thank goodness, we’re heading into a warm summer with new Cody Simpson music! It’s just like we’re 13 years old again, singing ‘Pretty Brown Eyes’ on the beach, pretending we’re swimming in the ocean with our surfer boy boyfriend. Now, we’re in our 20s, learning more about life each day, with the same artist we grew up beside. Thanks to Cody Simpson, we’re fully ready for summer, and we can’t wait to hear what else he may have in store for fans this year.
