Can we get a very, very loud round of applause for Addison Rae’s Coachella Weekend 1 performance!? What an amazing set it was, and we’re here to debrief it all with you.
We have to start with the obvious—the costumes, the set, and the special guests. What’s Coachella Weekend 1 without all three of these things on an even bigger scale than normal? Addison Rae, per usual, delivered a show for fans waiting all day under the desert sun. Addison entered the stage as dramatically as possible. On a rotating pink sphere, of course.
She proceeded to stun us with her stage presence in a leather red two-piece outfit and a gorgeous red/orange hairstyle. She pulled out the purple zip-up sweater from the ‘Headphones On’ music video, giving us the full Addison Rae fantasy. A standout moment from the entire set? Bringing star dancer and actress Maddie Ziegler out to dance to ‘Aquamarine.’ The two shone together on stage, and our fangirl hearts were so happy in this moment! Speaking of dancing, we also have to shout out Addison’s backup dancers during this set—they enhanced the performance for those of us watching from home and made the entire thing that much more amazing!
We simply can’t forget about the very end of the performance and Addison’s special message to all her haters. Addison Rae isn’t going anywhere, and we’re here to support her along the way, no matter what her “haters” have to say about it.
