All rise, sombaddies! This year’s Coachella lineup was one for the books, and having Sombr perform on Day 2 made it that much better. We knew he was going to deliver on that stage, and we were so excited for whatever surprises he had coming our way. Little did we know that he’d be bringing the full Sombr fantasy, including ballet dancers, a custom leather outfit, special guests, the perfect setlist, and more. He opened his set with his most recent song, ‘Homewrecker,‘ which did not disappoint at all, and closed off the evening with ’12 to 12,’ which every fan in the crowd was singing along to. Also, shoutout to Sombr’s band—they crushed it and got the energy going for those of us watching from home. Next year, we have to be at Sombr’s set in person!
The best part of the set? Sombr brought out “rock royalty” on stage, and the crowd went crazy. Billy Corgan, of the Smashing Pumpkins, sang ‘1979’ with Sombr, and we so wish we were there to see it! If anything, this solidifies Sombr’s spot in the indie-rock scene, and we’re here cheering him on all the way. Do you think he’ll bring out any other rock legends during Weekend 2?
