Henry Moodie, the voice behind hits like ‘drunk text’ and ‘right person wrong time,’ just played his biggest headline show to date at O2 Kentish Town Forum in London. And it couldn’t have been a better send-off to the Mood Swings Tour.

The opening acts: Grace Gachot and Áine Deane were absolutely amazing. Fans were singing along just as loud as they would later for Henry. It’s always a sign of an incredible show ahead when even the support acts are shown this much enthusiasm.
When it was time for Henry to come up on stage, Raye’s ‘WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!’ started playing, and everyone’s phones shot straight up. The iconic entrance led straight to his first song, which was, not surprisingly – ‘mood swings’.
Throughout the night, Henry played all of the fan favourites like ‘you were there for me’, as well as tracks from his newest album mood swings which is all we waited for! Hearing them live after listening to them on repeat for months just hit different. Henry took us through all kinds of moods, sharing personal stories between the songs and even throwing in some snippets of covers like ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’ or One Direction’s ‘Steal My Girl’.

The merch didn’t disappoint either. T-shirts with slogans like “I am a people pleaser” or “validation seeker” were definitely our favorite, cause honestly, we can all relate! Half of the crowd was already wearing them, which just added to that sense of everyone being in this together.
Safe to say, finally seeing Henry Moodie live felt like a long time coming. Watching how far he’s come makes it all the more exciting to see what he does next!
