After a long wait, CLOSE YOUR EYES’ 4th mini album, 256th Note, drops next week, and the group decided to spoil their fans, CLOSER, with the pre-release track: ‘Open Your Eyes.’

You know those annoying people who [incredibly incorrectly] think K-Pop is one monolithic sound? Play them ‘Open Your Eyes,’ and they’ll have to change their minds pretty quickly! This song is genuinely one of the most exciting pre-releases we have ever heard. Like, of all time.
Heavily rooted in jazz, ‘Open Your Eyes’ lures you in with its suaveness and sophistication. From the second we heard it open with that lively piano, we were hooked. And just when you think you know where CYE are going with this song, they throw a curveball with those vocals. They sound like the R&B boyband of our dreams! Between the harmonies and the jazz instrumentals, the textures and layers in this song are just so scrumptious!
256th Note
If ‘Open Your Eyes’ has you hooked (which it should), you don’t have to wait long for more CLOSE YOUR EYES music. Their 4th mini album, 256th Note, drops on September 30th! If ‘Open Your Eyes’ is the hint of 256th Note that we think it is, we’re all in for a treat next week!
